On August 22, I ordered a buy one get one free grilled chicken sandwich with fries. I specifically asked for no tomato or ketchup on the second sandwich for my partner, but it still came with both. The chicken was awful, with a lot of tough, chewy nasty parts that I tried to remove, but I continued eating anyway — big mistake. My stomach started feeling uneasy, but I ignored it until I noticed the most of the chicken was undercooked with raw parts inside. Tomatos were also bad on both sandwiches like melted I don't know what was really that. There was not enough cheese on both of the buns almost nothing, but after I saw something black on cheese I wasn't even worried about not enough cheese and I took that out. I was already disgusted while eating. I had to check all meals. On top of that, both buns were badly burned. The sandwiches were completely tasteless, and no I’m not exaggerating. The fries were just as bad — unsalted, uncooked and disappointing. I had to stop eating half of the first sandwich and whole another sandwich because of all this serious food issues. For a meal that cost nearly $40, I’ve never been more dissatisfied. I complained to Uber Eats, but received no response from the restaurant. Very unprofessional. This was my first and last time trying Fatburger — never again! I should've listen my partner before I decided to order here! Now I have an upset stomach that...
Read moreI haven't had a Fatburger in years and it was fabulous. First off, I was grateful that I was able to order a normal sized burger and not be forced into ordering a Fred Flintstone Tyrannosaurus burger. It was just the right amount cooked with cheddar cheese and a couple of onion rings on top of the burger I didn't understand that that was happening, but I loved it.
I couldn't decide between milkshake and soda so I ordered both let them milkshake melt a little.
The service was absolutely outstanding. Because I hadn't been to one in so long and because I'm moderately hearing impaired, I had a lot of request to repeat things, and the gentleman at the helm Was first in class with his service, kindness, and many recommendations. His name, fittingly, is HONOR.
The service was so darn good that I was surprised when I got my check receipt and there was no tip line. In this day and age I rang up your pack of gum, tip me, It was a pleasure To have a day off from that.
North Hollywood apparently has very few ATMs --I know I couldn't find one --So I didn't have cash or I would have tipped HONOR in cash.
I really really good cheeseburger served by a really conscientious intelligence customer service specialist. What more could...
Read moreGenerally nice crew that work there (hey, it's fast food...everyone on both sides wants in, then out as quick as possible).
I tend to pick up burgers there on the late hours, as it's one of the only places open then. Can be hit or miss sometimes how good the food is -- if you call in an order, be sure to get there soon. I had a hold up last visit & burger was way cold & they gave away my shake to someone already there as it was finished when I arrived & overheard the conversation. Took about ten minutes to get a new one made, mainly I think because some were new, maybe. My fault for hold up, though if similar situation know you might be there for a minute, even if nobody else waiting (may have other call ins). Late times inside there's always been at least one homeless or tweaker there sneaking some fountain drink so don't freak out lol. Ended up throwing burger away that night, unfortunately, because it was terrible; other times, been very good.
My advice: order it there, don't call it in unless already on your way & within 5 minutes from pickup. (No drive thru).
And avoid the Maui shake. Just trust me on that...
