Sherry Theater — Attraction in Los Angeles

Wow, this was by far the worst place ever to rent space from for my company. The management was condescending, hostile, and rude. The theater reeked of marijuana, the floor was covered with dirt and debris, and they had no paper towels in the restroom. It looked like they had not swept and mopped for over a month. The management had poor communications skills, did not leave concise instructions for theater use, and he would blame our company for things we know we did not do. When we would call him out on the lies he would become insulting and verbally abusive. They had given us a really good deal, but we got the feeling they were trying to make things up to kick us out for our next booking, probably because they had another customer with more money. I had to send out cancelation notices to over 40 actors that we had scheduled to audition for our company's next booking. I rather pay more money for a clean and positive environment for my crew and actors then ever do business with the Sherry...

great little theater for workshops but extremely small UPDATE: soo this is for the owner....I just want the owner to know that I was not trying to offend I am actually at this theater all the time! I was trying to give an honest review based on what Google asks you to include in reviews. I have no problem with the size but if someone is looking for a space shouldn't size be considered? Is the word extreme offensive? I also said it was Great. so I actually never review things and thought I'd start since Google always ask. Great show,but kind of dingy and run down place Nothing a fresh coat of paint and some repairs could not fix, but far from it's potential. Still, I enjoyed my time there.
