Perfect Donuts — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My customer service experience here was bad to say the least. I walked in the shop and waited behind a man ordering a dozen. As my turn came another (white) man walked in, and was quickly helped before me. I automatically saw things for what they were. I held my composure and started to say something but, I was treating my little boy who felt under the weather so I figured why bother. The expression of the people in the shop said it all and the girl even murmured something in her language to the man serving who then looked over at me. Shame on them, I do know they will not ever get business from me again, even if I have to drive miles out of my way for donuts on the weekend I will in fact do so. Watch where you spend your hard...

I bought a dozen donuts holes and a blended mocha coffee. I dropped my coffee outside the door and walked back in to explain what happened. I asked them if I could possibly get a new coffee but only if it's free of charge. They told me I had to $1 and I agreed to that. They gave me my coffee and I handed them a $5. I asked for my change back and they now tell me I had to pay $6 for the coffee (full price). I've been coming here for 12+ years and I will sadly never be returning after what they did today. Stopped here around 6.45am. Owners / workers are extremely friendly. Welcomed everyone with a smile and even went as far as speaking spanish to some of the customers (they are asians, but clearly know their demographic) and make people feel welcomed.
