Read moreI have loved this places for so many years with normally a friendly staff. Today, I'm sorry you do not yell at your only customer in the building.
Out of consideration to not crowd another customer I sat at a table closer to the front door. When a handicapped couple walked in with a walker, I turned around to see if the person I would have crowded left. Indeed, they did, so I proceeded to move to allow the handicap people to sit at my table.
I did not order anything at this time, nor did I create any mess or anything. This happened all within 3 minutes of sitting down
The older gentleman (manager?) Yells in an angry face "NO YOU SIT BACK RIGHT THERE!!!" pointing at my original chair. I was like what? I'm pointing to the handicapped people who clearly could barely make the walk through the short entrance. I said " I was trying to give them my table to make it easy "
"NO!!!!! YOU SIT HERE" He huffs again. I'm 52 and super duper chill. Tip well have loved and embraced this place for at least 12 years. I felt so deflated.
I arrived with joy and excitement to have one of my favorite meals in LA as a native Angelino only to be yelled at and made to sit like a child in grade school.
With a cooler head he later says to me "because I put you in the system for that table" I was the only person in the entire restaurant until the handicapped people came in and took the table that I got kicked out of. For readership the table is not in any way designated for handicap.
He could have easily switched the table in the POS system. Again I had not ordered. Its TOAST pos system the easiest and friendliest system.
Both my mushroom pizza and Lasgagna were lightly undercooked. If I can muster the spirit to return, its clear you have to order "double" toppings if you want it to actually cover each slice. There were 2 pieces with zero mushrooms on them. The undercarriage of the pizza was goey and...
