The Ralph’s lawsuits were ridiculous. He was giving free food to first responders at a crucial time during the fire/post fire for several weeks. He has given discounted food to kids, many are his loyal customers for years, and to the low income as well! I first tried this place right after getting back from Mexico City, and I can honestly say it’s comparable to the street food there. The al pastor taco with pineapple was delicious, and I love that the Palisades is welcoming places directly across from the $100+ meal restaurants. Granted, a $9 street burrito feels expensive, but I can only imagine the permit price to operate there, and it’s so delicious that it’s justified.
