If I could give them no stars I would I went there I ordered my food today I had to keep explaining what I wanted they cannot understand English. That is very frustrating it does not matter how great or how bad the food taste is if I cannot make an order. It was like they didn't understand the words that i was coming out of my mouth that is very frustrating and I don't even know how they even open up a business and have a job here in California and you cannot speak English and understand what is going on I ordered two BAC's. Only received one. I asked about the special sandwich that they have that the owner eats. They did not know what I was talking about because they could not understand. I showed them on the menu they still did not know what I was talking about and I ordered two items I received one it was just a waste of my lunch time and a very horrible experience. I would never go back again. Also the parking is very limited. No parking bad service, I will never go back. I will never recommend anyone. I have to go hungry and miss my lunch because of them. The worst customer service and time estimate you get at a restaurant in LA. They are super dirty and disorganized too.

On a Sunday, even for my online order of two bagels, they made me wait 30 minutes after the pick up time, totaling one hour for two toasted bagels and cream cheese on the side!

Your shop is so old and doesn’t run smartly! Add multiple industrial toasters. What you have is like my grandma’s!

You almost know your daily volumes. Cut bagels before, prepare food before and do some of the work before your crazy hours. Run this place smartly!

Today when I was waiting, your cashier was telling at least 50 customers that they can’t order in person because they are busy. You are too busy and losing business. Your staff are not respectful either. You need to be apologetic when you are 30 min late. But instead they behave like I owe them something! They tell you wait 10 more min, and after that 10 min, they say wait another 10! Crazy!

Overall, I don’t recommend this messy place! The food is ok but nothing like I wanna wait 1 hour and get rude/inattentive...

Drive by this place all the time so decided to stock up on some bagels. Asked for 1/2 dozen plain bagels to go. Got home and opened the paper bag: every single bagel is burnt. I figured maybe they just look dark—even though they also smell like they’ve been burned—so I picked the least dark one and gave it a try. The inside tastes good but the entire outside tastes, well, burnt. I looked at photos on the other reviews and realized most of them look just as dark, so maybe this is just the taste they’re going for? It’s really disappointing, I’ve never bought bagels from any bakery that were this overdone out of the oven, before they’re even toasted.
