Greco's New York Pizzeria — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Been coming here for at least 20 years.

Order the pizza today at 7 PM even was told 15 minutes.

Came into the store at 7:22 PM walked up to the register said hey I called in a pizza, mushroom onion, ham and bell pepper.

Guy goes $37. I hand them a $40 bill it gives me two dollars and somewhat change. I tip him and he tells me it will be about four more minutes.

Two minutes later I see him making the exact pizza that I ordered and throwing it in the oven.

So I stopped and asked hey is that my pizza?

He goes yes it is. I say what was the point of me calling it in at 7 o’clock?

He goes ““ I don’t know what happened ““ do you still want it?

I say yes I want it but I have to go drop off my kids food because it’s getting cold. There’s any reason why I ordered ahead.

As I’m processing that on my drive home, I realized he lied to me. They messed up my order. There was no apology when I paid him and tipped him and he told me four minutes only two minutes after that he put the pizza in the oven.

When I came back and asked for a refund I was told didn’t you say yes to the pizza no apology no, my bad no I’m sorry. no nothing.

I paid $37. And I only got $28 back and I took the two dollars that I gave him as a tip back then when I said you didn’t give me my full refund and he lied again and told me he gave me $40 back.

I could care less about the pizza or the $40 with the attitude was...

Look the food is good but the customer service is subpar. It was my first time ordering at this store and probably the last because nothing was solve and I was left with a wrong order. It is YOUR job to confirm the order if there was a chance of miscommunication. I ordered an Hawaiian pizza but your cashier, apparently, put the order as White pizza. I was loud enough, clear, and concise about my order but the cashier still managed to mess it up. When I called back I was left with an impression that it was my fault that I didn’t check the order. They were “sorry” that they cannot do anything anymore since my wife already took a bite out of a single piece (understandably), although it’s not her fault since it was supposedly a surprise dinner. But really?! There’s “nothing” you guys can’t do anymore? I’m not asking for a free pizza but leave us with something rather than NOTHING. I left a tip even before the transaction was completed just to be left with “nothing”. $68 worth of food + tip but $1 worth of customer service. P.S. - Please lower down the music and/or background noises if communication is going to...

Probably the best pizza in the area. Greco’s has been around for awhile, but only now have I come to appreciate how good their pizza is.

If you love truffle like me, get the truffle salami mushroom. It’s very delicious! The pepperoni is also better then your typical pizza place.

The chicken wings were also very good. They might be the best wings I’ve had in a while. That said, $40 for 18 wings is a bit steep for the cheapest part of the chicken.

The pricing overall is a reason you might not choose to go here consistently. I had a big group, and ordered 3 large pizzas, wings and had it delivered. The total cost was an eye watering $125! (Roughly) For pizza and wings!

That said, the quality and taste is why I have to give Greco’s such a high praise. It’s in another league compared to your Dominos and Pizza Huts, and much better then pizza at a place like CPK.
