I’m glad Cafe Du Liban is close to my families home in Tarzana. The meal I ordered, plate #6, was a massive portion and very delicious. What’s better is it was a BOGO free on Postmates, making this $30 meal much more reasonable. The chicken and beef Koobideh were the stars of the dish. You can really taste the herbs and spices ground into the meat. The chicken Shish kobob was nicely grilled and went well with the garlic sauce. The rice, grilled veggies, pita and spicy tahini all went well together (the sauces are sold separately). They offer seating at the restaurant. It’s quite small but room enough for a medium/small party. I’ll definitely be back!

Plenty of parking. Mostly two-tops, but the tables can easily be pushed together if it's not busy. Limited menu hanging at the register where you order and then sit. They brought my food out to me, but it was not busy at all so not sure if that's the norm. Food was great and a hefty portion, but this place definitely is not cheap! Very limited soda selection (hardcore coke selection) and a couple beers to choose from.

I had to have the delicious Greek salad the flavor with the feta cheese and the dressing was beyond ridiculously good!! The beef Shawarma sandwich was well made and the flavor soaks right Into the pita and the meat drips with deliciousness!! The crunchy turnips with the most watering pickled flavor made me eat so fast I think I’m gonna bring another one. Love the interior and the many TVs!! Come and have a seat!!

Exquisite Cuisine and Heartwarming Hospitality at Cafe du Liban.

My visit to Cafe du Liban today for lunch was an absolute delight that left me thoroughly impressed. The food was nothing short of exceptional, delivering a delectable journey through Lebanese flavors that awakened my taste buds.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the owner, Milton, whose warmth and genuine demeanor set the tone for a wonderful experience. His personalized recommendations added a special touch to the meal, making it clear that this was more than just a dining experience—it was a connection to the heart of Lebanese cuisine.

The dishes that graced my table were a testament to the chef's skill and dedication. The hummus was delightfully creamy, the beef Kebab was perfectly grilled to juicy perfection, and the baklava dessert was a sweet finale that left me craving more. What truly stood out, however, was the seamless blend of exceptional food and heartfelt hospitality.

Milton's attentive care and passion for his restaurant's offerings created an atmosphere that felt like dining with friends. It's a rarity to find such genuine hospitality, and it's this aspect that will undoubtedly draw me back to Cafe du Liban.

In a world where dining experiences can often feel rushed and impersonal, Cafe du Liban shines as a beacon of authenticity. If you're seeking not only a fantastic meal but also an experience filled with warmth and connection, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

To Milton and the entire team, thank you for turning a simple lunch into a memorable occasion. I can't wait to return for another...

The Falafel was AWFUL…

As a passionate food enthusiast who has had the opportunity to indulge in culinary delights from around the world, I must express my disappointment with the dining experience at this particular restaurant. Despite my wife's well-intentioned gesture of treating me to a Falafel Sandwich, I found the quality of the dish to be DISGUSTING !!!

The Falafel Sandwich, comprised of falafels, tomatoes, parsley, turnips, hummus, and tahini, was a far cry from the delectable meal I had anticipated. The tahini had an unpleasant odor and taste, indicating spoilage. The hummus was so unappetizing that it caused me to throw up , the falafel itself was lackluster in flavor.

Considering the exorbitant price of $140 for this meal, I was left feeling utterly dissatisfied. I would have preferred to indulge in a humble Big Mac from McDonald's over this disappointing fare. It is disheartening to see a restaurant capitalize on its location on Ventura Blvd to justify serving overpriced and unpalatable food.

Upon seeking feedback from my brother regarding the Gyro Sandwich, his comparison to "Friday's BBQ leftovers on a cold Monday afternoon" further solidified my disappointment in the quality of the cuisine offered at this establishment. It is my hope that the management takes this critique constructively and strives to improve the overall dining experience for...
