Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

On Jan. 30th I used the app. to scedule a 6pm curveside pickup. Included my car's color, make and appearance when I placed the order. We arrived a couple of minutes before 6 and waited in the car. At 6:11, I was texted that the food was ready and on it's way out. We waited until 6:27 when I saw an employeed deliver food to the car next to us. Asked the employee about our order. She didn't know about anything about it, but she would check inside. Only to return with the order that was never delivered to us. She didn't know why no one brought it out and asked if we still wanted it. The food was cold and soggy. I was never offered a refund or asked if we wanted the food warmed up. The Habit is set at a higher price point than other burger places. I expected the food and curbside pickup service...

This rating is based on the pretzel pub char. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff are incredibly friendly. The pretzel pub is a seasoned chargrilled beef patty on an artisan knotted pretzel bun with white American cheese, ale pub mustard, caramelized onions, green leaf lettuce, tomato, and pickles. In my opinion, the bun is very big and takes away from the taste of the rest of the burger. It should also be warmed up a bit because it should have been easier and more enjoyable to bite through than it actually was. The cheese is a nice touch with the mustard. The onions should have been caramelized more. Again, really can't tell you about the meat because of the bun. IMO, this burger was not worth $9. Will come again to try...

I’ll be honest the food was awful. The burgers tasted mushy. The bread was mushy. The fries were over cooked. Compared to in n out this is gross

Being a new burger joint in sylmar especially habit I was expecting a lot more. Just go down a block next to big lots. There is a food truck called nicos burgers for a cheaper and way better burgers and fries. Especially the onion rings. Or go on MacLay street get Jimmy’s. Or go to fosters. You wont be paying out the a for a inferior burger.

Other than that place is clean and manager was micro managing unnecessarily...
