Reasons why Hanu Korean BBQ, is a great spot to dine at.
Ordered: -Beef combo (M) it came with prime ribeye steak, grilled premium shorty rib patties, outside skirt, thinly sliced brisket, spicy braised short ribs, & wagyu beef tartare. $149.99 -Spicy Galbi Beef short rib soup $19.99
We picked this combo because we don't usually like to do pork when we eat Korean bbq and obviously as first timers here we had to try the wagyu beef tartare. This meal was the most bang for our buck! Personally, we didn't care for the grilled premium shorty rib patties because it was marinated and on the sweet side. But its honestly a personal preference. We tend to not do marinated meats since we like to dip it in the dipping sauces.
I did love that food came out fast and staff was ready to serve/grill for us. We had two staff come help us and checked on us multiple times. The robots are super cool! My kids loved watching it bring us to our table and it bringing us our food. Made me want to keep ordering food just to see it come to our table. Super fun for little ones! My hubby and I thought Hanu was pretty cool because the food was good, portions are huge, parking was a breeze, and we didn't walk out smelling. Definitely 2 thumbs up from this foodie! I can definitely see why this Korean BBQ spot has this many great reviews based off of my visit. We'll definitely be coming back to get our bbq on!

We have been to Hanu several times, but this is the first time that we come on a weekend during dinner time. We reserved a table for a party of 5. We called to let them know that we will run a little bit late. Please hold a table for us. When we arrive 2 of our friends still weren't arrived. The lady who has a out grown blond hair was giving such an attitude saying we can't be seated since all of us are not present. And she stressed that this rule apply to everyone not only to us. I kinda understand because I also own a restaurant myself. So we waited in front for our friends to arrive. A big group came up to the host told her that they are a group of 10, but still missing 2 people. They are somewhat speaking English / Korean. And that same lady let them sit. I was staring at them and questioning. Why would those group of people were seated when not everyone is present. So I went up and ask another why did that lady let them seated first. She was stunned and didn't know what to say. The blonde host came back and they talked in Korean and said back to me in the rudest tone, no one said they are not complete. Everyone is here already blah blah blah.
I was so mad. NO customers should be treated like THIS EVER! Even before that party got seated she gave us attitude, and then that happened we felt really bad and our friends weren't happy about it. We talked so good about this place. And we wanted to show them our favourite go to kbbq place. But I think this will be our last visit at Hanu.
I went back and checked yelp review. Most of people who give them 1 star was talking about the SAME host lady. But this wasn't fixed. So good luck Hanu on running the business when having such a rude / racist / unwelcoming host.
But the meat quality is always good. And our server is always nice to us. The price is higher compare to...

It’s a real skill, and Hanu’s got it down to a science.
Let’s talk combos because Hanu goes all out. The amount of extras that come with them is enough to make you wonder if they got your order mixed up with a banquet. And just when you think you can’t handle any more, along comes the grand finale: kimchi fried rice. It’s the perfect bookend to one of the best KBBQ stories you can experience anywhere.
Every bite of the deliciously grilled meat is like a flavor explosion, but pro tip: don’t forget to complement it with a shot of soju. For those who really want to level up, make it a somec (the magical mix of soju and beer). It’s practically an art form here.
