My mother and I went to this restaurant on a Thursday night at 7:50 pm. There was a crowd but it wasn’t busy. At first we were greeted fine and the server took our order. It was a male server at first and then it was a woman server. We ordered 3 pupusas, 2 sodas and a dessert. Like I said it wasn’t busy so we didn’t think we would wait that long for our food. It took 35 minutes for our food to arrive, that’s a long time especially if it wasn’t busy. I understand it’s not a fast food place but it shouldn’t take that long for a small order. The woman server never asked us if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. After eating our pupusas I asked if our dessert was ready? She said, let me check? Come to find out it wasn’t ready and at this point we were already there for 45 to 50 minutes. The food was ok. I don’t know if they have different cooks but the food didn’t taste the same as we remembered. Overall my mother an I weren’t happy with the service. We paid our bill and still left a tip. We will not be coming back to this place. Very...

No longer my favorite pupusas in Los Angeles. Not greasy and very tasty though. I always order two pupusas revueltas con todo. I think the filling is always perfectly balanced. The curtido though has gone to hell. Literally, hell, because all of a sudden it’s spicy! No good! I often order platanos fritos and they are always perfect.
It’s ok because the restaurant is very nice. They have great art up on the walls which gives it a cool Latino vibe. Their horchata is awesome. It’s different than Mexican horchata. You must try it!
Service is ponderously slow and sometimes quirky in bad way but friendly, but not at all as friendly as it is at other pupuserias. Today service was really slow, they forgot my horchata and took forever to bring the bill. Ugh! Granted it was busy but I had to be on my way.
They have flat screens on the walls and play cumbias etc.
Parking in the rear is usually available. Meter parking...
Read moreWas recommended this Salvadorian by a friend. Good nice set up, enough space to move around. They have a parking lot in the back fits about a dozen cars. Walked in and Noticed a bar in the back area, but did not venture in that location. 3 huge TV's I'm assuming for sporting events and a projector with what appears to be a screen that slides down. Overall appearance was good. Server was very pleasant and the horchata and tamarind drink was on point. Pupusas are tasty and my dish that had carne asada and casmiemto, cheese and one sausage was tasty. I would recommend this place if you want a clean tasty Salvi food restaraunt in the Beverly/Western area of LA. That's the biggest plus to this place the cleanliness. A little more pricier then other pupusria, the atmosphere is what your are paying for. FYI groups of 6 or more are charged an automatic 15% tip fee...
