Jelly Donut — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place has been a fixture of the San Fernando Valley for decades! It's a family-ran operation with consistent donuts every single time! My husband grew up enjoying their donuts since he was a toddler and he introduced it to me when we started dating. He had been stationed overseas and I'd bring him donuts from here. When we got married, we skipped the cake and opted for several dozen donuts from here! Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we had to cancel the reception and the donut order, but I remember how easy they made it and how confident we were there wouldn't be any issues. I'm a local and a frequent visitor of this shop. The owners are kind people, and they recognize and try to get to know recurring patrons. Their doughnuts are great in quality with a few going under the radar. I personally get a "Ham Sandwich" which consists of common condiments with ham, lettuce, and jalapeño in a croissant--though I've heard complaints on their liberal amounts of mayonnaise, but I personally don't mind it. The prices are really cheap and fair. The environment feels good too. The aroma from the doughnuts and bread inside is so nice especially on a cold day were u just want a coffee or something warm to drink like hot chocolate with a doughnut. They give free doughnuts if you're consistent most of the time. The old people there are rlly nice I think they retired tho bc there are younger ppl working there now.
