Would be really nice if the hours didn’t say they were open until 6pm but the cook apparently goes home at 5:30pm??
People plan to get food after work based on hours of operation. Having the cook leave before the restaurant is closed makes no sense whatsoever. Not to mention, most of the prices have gone up in the past few weeks.
$7 for fries was already a stretch but now it’s $8. The breakfast sandwich also went up. Along with the bread, and English muffins, despite these price changes not being reflected on the menu.
We had stopped going to Kbakery for many years because they were never reliable with their hours, but we finally started going again over the past 6 months because it seemed that issue had resolved, and we were happy to be back. But now it seems they’re sliding backwards so we’ll probably start taking our business elsewhere again.
Sucks because the food is great!
They already have early closing hours, with being completely closed on Sundays, so for them to take another half an hour of business away from their already short hours is...
Read moreK Bakery makes some of the best scones I've ever had. If you appreciate and enjoy a properly made scone, you will love the scones at K Bakery. I had a white chocolate cranberry scone that was a 10. Somehow the interior texture and layers of the scone seem to melt in your mount. The exterior has this amazing baked texture and inside is flakey and a little crumbly. Just divine. Also, the cobb salad is excellent and is like a California spin on a cobb. A light and fresh citrus vinaigrette and enough non lettuce items to make the salad filling but not so much that you are thinking "I'm never going to be able to finish this enormous cobb salad". I love cobb salads too. Oh...and the chicken pot pies are a perfect 10. They sell out of them daily it seems like. They have the perfect balance of everything that makes up a pot pie: crust, flakey, moist, chunks of chicken and...
Read moreI went in to grab something quick to take to my grandparents who live near by. I was the only person at the counter and the second of two customers in the whole place. There were 3 staff members behind the counter. No one greater me, and only after I stood in front of the counter for multiple (maybe 5) minutes did one of them acknowledge me, but only to say “will be with you in a minute.” I picked the small apricot scones, which none of the three staff knew the price of—the one at the register said “ I guess they are the same as the others.” When I pointed out they were visibly smaller than the chocolate chip ones next to them, one other other staff said, “yeah, those came out small,” but no one even offered a price adjustment. The grandparents loved the scones, but I will never go back because the service was so poor and the $5.95 price for the small scones...
