Absolutely unacceptable experience. found a large insect leg in my food, and not a single staff member apologized or took responsibility. The place was clearly understaffed, and there was no manager on site to address the situation. Food safety and basic customer service were completely missing. I will not be returning, and strongly suggest others think twice before dining here.

Ate there a couple nights ago and enjoyed the warm service of the restaurant staff. Very pleasant experience. The Tahdig did not taste very fresh and was dried out. The hummus and bread was not very good either. The sesame chicken was not bad.

Awesome food, I love to order the sultani. Really the best kosher kabob in Los Angeles. I highly recommend this restaurant. No frills, just great food and honestly at a great price. I wish the waiter would sing and play the piano again.

Forget about the quality of the food and the poor service at this restaurant- we have been going there for 30 years as a family, but today this restaurant has hit a new low and the owners have NO RIGHT to be in the restaurant business. Or any kind of service industry. They are beyond disgusting and rude to their guest.

I am an extreme foodie, I have traveled the world and eaten in some of the worlds best restaurants- from both a service and quality of food standpoint, not to mention almost every decent kosher restaurant across the globe, from the US, Europe and Asia.

Today was the first time in my life (across thousands of restaurants) that I have been abused, screamed at, and yelled at by the owner of a restaurant, who pulled me into his private office to scream at me because I asked to speak to him to question the 20% service charge that was added to my check.

This is the same owner who made me pack my own to go boxes, and was rude from moment we sat down- who refused to take our order or even get me a fork when me meal came, telling me to ask the waiter.

I have never been treated so badly or could have imagined a restaurant could treat somebody this badly. I should also mention the check was $300 and there were 5 of us! So it's not as if we were being cheap, we ordered graciously.

Well done to the owners of this restaurant- you deserve a medal treating your...

Horrible decline in quality and service—never again!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Kolah Farangi for over 25 years, ordering takeout multiple times a week. Unfortunately, ever since the original owner handed the business over to his son, the restaurant has gone downhill fast. The food quality has deteriorated, and the service has become outright unacceptable.

The final straw came this past weekend when I went to the back of the restaurant to wash my hands. While I was washing up, an employee aggressively mopped the floor—right over my brand new white Saint Laurent shoes. Shocked, I immediately asked him to wait, yet he continued to mop over my shoes again. When I tried to address this with the owner’s son, expecting some basic decency, I was instead met with hostility. Rather than acknowledging the issue, he rudely told me not to speak to his employee and dismissed my concern with a careless “So what?”

After years of patronage, I can no longer support a business that treats its customers with such disrespect. If you care about good service and basic customer appreciation, stay far away...

Extremely horrible, and disgusting. The food was extremely bad, disgusting and horrible, and not to mention the service was very low, poor and bad. Me, my wife and my kids went there to spend some time as a family we ordered chicken kebabs and beef kabobs but every item we ordered was not fresh, very undercooked, smelly, and disgusting. I barely ask to talk to management, but at this time I had to do so, which at that point I learned that this place doesn’t have a manager; therefore the owner came over to our table. As the owner he should be friendly, welcoming and respectful. He should know how to handle the situation as a restaurant business owner, but instead he was extremely rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and extremely obnoxious. Due to the lack of professionalism and uncleanliness of this restaurant, I will never go back there again. I’m very disappointed of this place, very disturbed, and bothered. Due to the poor service, quality, and conditions of this place, I will not be returning back or spending a single...
