Eilat Bakery — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I was very disappointed. Buying baking goods from a bakery I expect to get fresh products. I faced many times bad products so I learned to ask what was fresh for the day. I went back a week ago I asked if the product I wanted was fresh, employee said "YES" I asked several times just because it was inside a bag and when I squeezed it, it felt a bit hard. She assured me it was fresh. I believed her and paid for it. While still standing by the cashier I opened the bag and tried one piece. I took a bite and through it out. It was hard. At that point I was really upset. How could she lie to my face? I asked the cashier to return my money. She said, she couldn't, she would only give me a store credit and that was their store policy. This crappy policy does not apply with the law. I insisted to get my money back but no success.

This is what some business owners don't get. CUSTOMER SERVICE! Do I need to ask for a fresh product from a bakery? Why would I be lied to? My money was taken away and could not get it back. I left without products and with no money. I could not reach the owners after several attempts. That was a week of frustrations, not even a moment of frustration. The worst service ever received from traveling around the world. Eggs are either uncooked egg yolks or hard as plastic (not to mention the amount of oil that was lathered on the so called "egg"). There's absolutely no customer service. They do not even know the meaning of the word. The cashier told me in quote "I am right, you are wrong". What ever happened to the customer always being right.
