What an amazing meal we had at the Milky Way today First of all I live the rustic ambience.

I sat down at the table and ordered Tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa Garden salad and garlic bread for appetizers.

The tortilla chips were home made and crispy and delicious the salsa was a perfect spicy and the guacamole was delicious.

The garlic bread is an entire story for itself. It was utterly delicious soft, garlicky, buttery and perfect. In between Steven spielbergs mother came past to say hi and ask how we are doing. And for a women that age to come by individually to each customer shows how much they care for each customer For main course we ordered a traditional fish and chips and a Thai fish dish

The fried fish was perfectly fried in its beer batter the crispness was perfect the textures were perfect and the taste was phenomenal The Thai fish was very peanut buttery but amazingly delicious. And then for dessert we had chocolate mousse pie Which was phenomenal.

I know I don't write the best. But hellz yeah I would be back the ambience and...

I came here a bit later on a Monday evening an the place was practically empty. But that did end up meaning fast (and courteous) service. The ambience is homey and cozy, which was nice, though I actually thought the servingware was actually a bit too plain.

Food was good, it's a bit of an assortment. I ended up having the crispy potstickers (which were a bit overcooked) and the Thai Fish Fry. Both were good, not great. The Thai Fish Fry was interesting in that it was cubes of deep fried halibut in a peanut sauce. Unfortunately the flavor of the fish was completely lost, but the sauce was quite good so I guess that made up for it.

And as others have noted, the cheesecake is quite amazing. It's actually much softer, creamier and airier than any New York style cheesecake I've had, and tasted better than most.

Overall I'd say a decent choice for...

I love this restaurant, it's one of my favorites in L.A. and I go a few times whenever I'm in town. The service is always a pleasure and your always greeted at the door by a warm and friendly person. The food is updated and the whole menu was just redone a few months ago. The quality is amazing, no matter what you order the food is always fresh, and you can taste it. They also have Wi-Fi and free refills on many of their drinks, and the restaurant is always quite and private, so it's very family friendly, but really great for business meetings as well. This is all besides for the fact that it is the Spielberg family restaurant, and has great family photos and memorabilia. And I really enjoy supporting the restaurant who gave so many of us such amazing childhood experiences...

This restaurant is delicious! I haven’t been back since they remodeled it and was so happy to see how they upgraded the space. It’s really tastefully done. The dining room has a nice homey feel. Ok, the food: Very fish heavy menu- everything was super yummy! We ordered the fish chowder- very decadent, creamy and had nice big chunks of fish. Def ordered it! Fish taco were great. It came with a side of Caesar salad which gave me memories of the old place! Tuna melt was 10/10. There is a nice mix of healthy and heavy dishes which makes this restaurant a good option for lots of different type of people or moods. Overall experience was 10/10 (Besides for the temp, it was freezing!)

I have not been to this place in over a decade. In fact I am usually turned off by dairy restaurants. I had a weak moment and my wife made me try it again. WOW was I in for a surprise. The waiter was polite and courteous. Gabriel the server came over to us almost immediately and seemed very sincere and offered his opinions which ended up being spot on. The food came out extremely fast and was very tasty!!! I give this place two thumbs up.
