Five Stars are worth giving. VALLARTA- Has pl;enty of parking. They adhere to CDC rules on TRump45 Virus. It's a clean store, The Staff goes beyond the call of duty to help you- when and if you need it. They stock most Latin American products you may need to make thos KILLER TACOS, ENCHILADAS, MENUDO, POZOLE or anything else you know how to make. If you follow me and notice I almost always give 5 Stars, its because I don't believe in thrashing a business on Line. I've had run-ins at VALLARTA, BUT THEY WERE SETTLED ...... ON THE SPOT. iF AND WHEN YOU SEE A Vallarta, STOP BY AND CHECK THEM OUT. P.S. They speeken-Inglis too.
UPDATE 10/09/2025 It’s been 4 years (already) since my first review and for those of you that take the minute or two that it takes to read a good short review, please leave us a signal, that you were here by ‘LIKING’ or a simple ‘👎🏻’ will do. Ok, a couple of days ago I needed some items for my “TACOS” dinner. So I mosy’d-on-down to Vallarta to see what I could get. While at Vallarta, I didn’t feel like spending too much (time) making Spanish Rice so I went to the section on the West side of the food aisles. The, “La Cocina”, is there. Fast Mexican food. I was immediately tended to by a very service minded, great smiling young Lady- ANNIE! I bought my Spanish Rice and a large “JAMAICA”. I told Annie that I really appreciated the way she tended her Customers. On several visits to VALLARTA I could help but notice Annie’s style. Besides her friendly demeanor, she really pays attention to you and doesn’t seem like she wants to get rid of you so she can go to the next in line. Go get some good Mexican food at “LA COCINA”, at VALLARTA and look for Annie. Tell her, “Remember that old man that came the other day, who bought Spanish Rice and a large ‘NO ICE’ Jamaica? Well, he told us how great you...
Read moreI would consider this a local store, because I honestly don't seem them around in many other places, just in California (Up North, say San Franciso and down South in Escondido.) When you go to larger chain supermarkets, they have the small section in an isle called "ethnic foods." I think the whole store (Vallarta) is like a huge "ethic foods isle" and they have everything you need, that couldn't be found at those big chained shops.
I really like the fresh guacamole and salsa they make and pack on site. When I have to cook and prep large meals I pick up the already marinated beef, pack of taco tortillas, all the taco fixings, cold pack of beer, and bag of chips. I leave spending about half of what I would pay elsewhere. That's one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Price and quality can't be beat!
Con- Sometimes when I want something that I don't know where it is, asking around I have found that some of the workers don't speak english enough to understand me. That may make it difficult for some people to shop here. So I will give it 4 stars, since I can't...
Read moreFirst time I came to this store to buy chicken wings. When I arrived at the food court ( La cosina) it was Not busy at that moment. Everyone in (La Cosina ) saw me standing there waiting to be helped, and they just continued chatting with each other minutes later a girl who's name on the receipt shows as Tania just came and stood there without saying anything, so I asked for some wings, she walked away and put some fries in to fry and said it's gonna take 5min, so I said for the wings? ( mind u.. her face looked like if she was mad ) then she said oh! She started to basically throwing the wings in the bag. Her attitude towards me was super Rude. No idea of customer service. That's the reason why I will Never go back there. BAD ATTITUDE...
