It's easy to dismiss Lemon Zest as merely a chain restaurant, with its seemingly innocuous name, but what we have here is Mediterranean cuisine done right and packing a lot of flavor! The restaurant is spacious and inviting, and is certainly not a vanilla corporate restaurant. It is more like you're a guest at someone's nicely-decorated home. All the food is freshly made daily, and you can taste that right away from the Babaganoush. Made from grilled eggplant mixed with tahini, lebne, extra virgin oil, and garlic, it is rich, buttery, and yet creamy and cool. It's a treat eating it with the slices of flat bread sprinkled with zaatar and olive oil. At first, it feels like there is not enough flatbread, but you can request more! Worth it! I wanted to try the beef kebab, but sadly they ran out (co-owner Mike said they order 50 lbs of beef and chicken daily and they do run out!), but the Lule kebab plate more than makes up for this. The beef kebob is bursting with flavor, is well seasoned, and is moist with hint of char. You get two large size kebabs, too. Most dishes are priced in the low to mid-$20s, but unlike many other similar restaurants, you get so much for your money. The portion is huge, with the delicious, buttery rice almost spilling over the edges of the serving dish-sized plate. There is enough in one plate to serve 2 people or 1 very hungry individual (like me!). Finally, I had the Baklava to go, but sampled a bite. It is a very nice way to finish quite a meal, a mildly sweet and nutty palate cleanser. Finally, even though it's busy on Saturday, the servers along with Mike are friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back here!

I stopped by this Lemon Zest today to get my dinner. I heard about this place from another person who speaks highly about it so I was willing to give it a try. I like kabob so I was interested to see how this place is. I found parking easily in the small lot this place is in. When I walked inside, I was in their little dining area which isn't big but they have another space to the left where you can put in your to go order. I went with the Beef Lule Kabob plate with half rice and half Caesar salad. It took about 10 minutes or so to be ready and I went home to eat it. They give a lot of rice and the beef lule looks good. My plate also came with a pita bread but it was on the bottom of the rice and kabob so all the grease went on it. I thought he lule kabob was good and the rice. I only ate 1 stick of the lule kabob and was already full. I ate some of the pita bread but having all the grease on it didn't help. I was to come back, I would try their French fries and maybe gyro. The service was great when I was here while I was putting in my order and the lady walking over my order to me when it was ready.

I’ve driven by this spot at least 100 times, and today was finally the day I decided to come in and have a girls' night with one of my best friends. I originally planned on getting a wrap, but the waitress informed us before ordering that they were not serving wraps and were out of soup and eggplant. So, I decided to share a combo meal #3 with her, which included chicken and beef kebabs ($32). The servings were very large and definitely big enough to share. I couldn’t resist ordering a side of fries ($6). The combo plates come with rice, and we got to choose a salad of our choice—we chose the Greek, which was definitely one of the highlights of my meal. The staff was very friendly, and I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. There is plenty of indoor seating. They have bathrooms for customers and a shared parking lot, so you should have no issues finding a spot.

Ordered from here many times over the last 6 months. This previous Saturday February 24, 2024 we did a family size order for a baby shower for delivery in the Porter Ranch area. The food, as usual, was outstanding. Extremely fresh good quality produce & meats. And the best babaganoush in the valley! Absolutely worth every penny. We are thankful and got many meals out of it. My only tiny, tiny complaint is the chicken breast was a bit salty, but we are sensitive to salt as our family does not salt any food we make at home. Best Greek salad in the valley, best Greek salad dressing!. We love this place. Is it pricey? not really. We get multiple meals out of our orders. I would venture to say dividing our meals up comes to about $5 a meal within a reasonable healthy portion. It’s overall a healthy choice and we will continue to be costumers. Thank you for...
