Mariscos Maria's Restaurant — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for multiple years and this is easily the WORST experience we’ve ever had. Everything from the food to the service was horrible. Walking in, the waitress(Ruth) didn’t greet us and took forever to take our order. We ordered the calamari as appetizers and they were burned and overcooked, when we said something about it, the waitress tried to gaslight us into thinking that was normal. She also said “The table behind you was served the same thing and they’re eating it,” as if that were to make anything better. We were never offered any compensation and instead kept coming back to make snarky remarks, we even attempted to ask for the manager and we were just ignored. It used to be a whole lot better back in the day I know the ownership is still the same but table servers have to improve their game a lot they are respectful yes, cordial yes, but they seem to not be there like absent and in a rush. Well it was only fair to give this place a second chance boy did I mess up . Super slow service and we were one family of only two waiting for our food. We ordered our drinks and they were handed to us with very light ice and others with no ice at all. Waiter is not very friendly. We got our food after waiting for 40 mins. Only half us got our silverware with our food, we asked for the rest multiple times but never received it.
