Mendocino Farms — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I placed a last-minute catering order Thursday night for our Friday picnic before the Tchaikovsky Spectacular with Fireworks at the Hollywood Bowl, but realized I'd missed the deadline for Friday pickup. I was panicking because we had 16 people counting on lunch!

Manager Abraham Mang stepped in and personally made it happen. He moved our entire order up a day so we could pick it up Friday at 3:15pm - exactly what we needed. His problem-solving and customer service were incredible.

The food was AMAZING! Our group couldn't stop raving about how GREAT the sandwiches and salads were. Everything was accurately prepared (including the special requests like no onions and no bacon). The Turkey Avo Salsa Verde, Prosciutto & Chicken, and Caesar salads were huge hits.

Abraham turned what could have been a disaster into the perfect start to our Hollywood Bowl evening. This is exactly the kind of above-and-beyond service that makes Mendocino Farms special. Thank you, Abraham!

Highly recommend the Studio City location - they really care about...

I heard about Mendocino Farms from a friend who highly recommended it because of their commitment to locally and sustainably sourced ingredients so I had to check it out. Immediately I was greeted by a welcoming staff and cozy atmosphere, then found my mouth watering at the wide variety of scrumptious sounding entries. Since it’s stone fruit season, I went with the hot honey peach and prosciutto sandwich as well as their sweet peach and goat cheese salad. My taste buds were blown away by the melody of fantastic flavors that danced effortlessly together like a serenade of sensation. Wow! My eyes scoured over the menu while I savored every bite of delightful cornucopia, already plotting my return. This place has it all: fresh produce, incredible bread, quality mead and veggie/vegan options, plus a kids menu too. On my way out I grabbed a pomegranate mint lemonade, which was a creative combination that tasted like a dessert in it of itself. Hey this was a great experience! We attended the training session that was open to the public (via reservation) this last week and the staff is fabulous. The food is consistent with what you expect from Mendocino, the staff was doing great for their first run through. I like the set up and the warmth of the outside patio. The kids play area is a bit smaller then the Mendocino down the street but my little munchkins still had fun. Parking will be rough. The lot is already full most of the time with trader Joe's customers but if you patient I am sure you will be fine. The drink area is a bit tight as well, kind of hard to navigate between the employees cleaning away plates and other guests getting their beverages. The entry flow is good. Streamlined well. I like the covered area where you can wait outside in line without getting hit by the elements. Over all it was a great experience.
