Mi Pueblito San Juan Restaurant — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My favorite neighborhood restaurant. With my favorite waitress friends. The food taste like sitting at the dinner table of any good authentic Mexican Family home. I like the chicken plate, chilaquiles, breakfast burritos, taco plate... with either your choice of al pastor, asada, or pollo... as well as the Mulitas etc. I've had just about everything on the menu. When we stayed in the area we went just about every week. Sometimes twice a week. The food is great, authentic, lite on the stomach, flavorful with great friendly service, in family oriented atmosphere. Anyone can order more than one thing in the menu and still not be extra full if you don't know your options on what to eat, and you won't get too weighted down if your a hungry eaters. You will spend a lot less money than you think even if you order a few things on the menu. Prices range from $3 to less than$20, depending on what you're getting. The a variety of Mexican sweets, smooties, desserts etc. They make the best homemade refreshing Mexican flavored drinks, Waters and juices to quench your thirst during your tasty...

I did not want to give this place 1 star, after all food is good and great prices, but the servers are not helpful at all, this is not something that happened once but for the most of the times I been there, today was the worst asked for server to send someone to clean table, she responded I will go but not right now I am very busy but with a disrespectful tone, other customers had to clean table as I also did, when asked for something like cream fo the coffee it never came, and again other customers had asked for something and it took so long they had to get up and go to the kitchen to ask for their missing items, my wife received her drink almost at the end of our meal!!!... definitely not recommend it just because of the service, again food is good and prices, even my friend got wrong...

Good food but the service is horrible. I order menudo (which is very good) and i get the bowl and they dont bring the utensils, tortillas and all the fixings. Then i see the waiter helping other people while im waiting. I raise my hand but no response, all while my food is getting cold. I had to get up and ask them to bring the rest. I have no problem doing that the thing is it happens almost all the time.. They either they forget our drinks or utensils or tortillas and the other thing is they hardly come back to check up on you to see if you need a refill or something.. I would understand if the restaurant was big but its not. This happens even if theres a few...
