
I just had a horrible experience with this Salon. Where to begin, I called to make an appointment for two special events. After booking an appointment they mentioned that I would need to come in to 1. Look at the type of style I wanted for my hair with pictures 2. Look at my hair to be able to give me a quote.
I was unable to go during the week, so I ended up going during the weekend. According to Google and their social media page (@garcia42003), they were opened. I stopped by and when I did the salon had the âOPENâ lights on. To my surprise when I attempted to walk in, the door was locked and they were closed.
I ended up calling them with no luck with both numbers provided on social media and Google. I ended up messaging them on social media - see screenshot - with no luck. I finally had a chance to pay them another call. When I called I spoke on the phone to one of the co-owners. I explained all my attempts to reach them and she said she didnât see messages coming in on IG. She went on to say that she posted on IG that the shop would be closed, but I saw nothing on their story or their recent posts. She ended up explaining, that it was a requirement for me to show up within 24 hours to drop off the deposit for the two appointments, and because I didnât show up that one out of my two appointments was given to someone else. I ended up telling her that it was unfortunate, but I did think it was important for her to speak to the employee who had taken the call to train and correct for future orders as this wasnât explained to me on the phone. To be quite honest, it seems reasonable that they needed a deposit, what is unreasonable is to expect this from a client who didnât have the knowledge of this requirement. Secondly, I made a call out that the cordial thing would have been for them to give me a call back to inform me, that due to my failure in showing for the deposit my appointment had to be given to another individual. Not necessarily to save the date for me, but rather to be earnest and allow your customer to find another stylist. Her response back was that they are âtoo busyâ to be accommodating to their clients.
This co-owner ended up being unable to hear my point as a customer that they made a rash bad decision. They told me they would also be unable to see me for my second appointment, which was done out of spite, and hung up the phone on me.
To summarize it, ladies and gentlemen, this business is not reliable and communicative. I would reconsider before and be extremely careful when booking your appointment. If you find another Salon that is more organized, save yourself the trouble and book them instead. Itâs a shame because meanwhile the owner and receptionist are being reckless with how they are treating their customers the stylist are actually losing money and potential clients.
To the business, I would recommend getting an online PO system, this way your clients can pay within those 24 hours without having to go physically to the salon.    Read moreI had the worst experience here with Edith. It is quantity over quality. I got to the salon on time at 3:50, appointment was at 4:00. Another lady came in twenty minutes after me and was attended first because she had short hair and only needed a touch up, she did not start on my hair till about 5:20. She started my hair, then would pause and started washing the other ladies hair in the middle of doing my hair that was being bleached. Once she was done bleaching and I was waiting she then started cutting another clients hair that walked in while the lady that came after me was still laying down with her hair in the bowl for about and hour . She finished cutting and styling that ladies hair then checked my hair, she then immediately took me to get it rinsed off because my hair had a âchemical reactionâparts of my hair burned off. She said this has happened before and should have done a test strand and asked me questions about my hair afterwords. Whatâs done is done, I ended up leaving about 9:30 being the last person there.    Read moreI went in for a hair cut it has been awhile, and it came out great the price was $30 dollars for long layers. Went back and took my kids an the charge was $35 for both kids. I'm not sure if that is a normal pricing but felt that they threw out any number for pricing. Everytime I asked how much they stayed quiet did the hair cut an then charged which is fine because they have to determine how much work has to be done. But for kids son an daughter they didnt have that much hair, they charged $35 bucks is that normal Now a days? Ok mine it needed a little work understand my charge but for kids?
