Me and my wife wanted to try something new for date night. We were looking for something local and reasonable. Our decision was for pizza, but did not want the usual pizza for those other places. We decided to try mod pizza. At first we were a little hesitant cause of the poor written reviews and some people's lack of knowledge on certain types of food. When we arrived to Mod Pizza, it was a little busy and the line was a little long, but when we realized how things work, we were good. The workers move pretty quickly and ask you questions pretty clearly. You can see one of the workers making the pizza dough and others prepping and one covering the oven and calling orders. They have 3 sizes and we ordered the medium size pizza and a medium Caesar salad and they ask if you would like anything extra in your salad, so we chose for tomatoes cuts. The salad was ready while in line and the pizza's take about 5 minutes. The Caesar salad was a 10/10 with the right about of dressing and full amount of flavor. The pizza's we ordered were thin crust(you can order thick crust) and were delicious and full of flavor. my wife ordered red pizza sauce and i ordered pesto sauce. after we started eating, the place got packed and i see why. Out of all the pizza placed in my 25yrs of being with my wife. this place ranks #2 on our places for great pizzas. their are a few things you need to know about this place. 1. its a thin crust pizza, so if you are having it to go, IT WILL get cold on the way home! thick crust bread DOES NOT HOLD HEAT! 2. SPEAK CLEARLY to the workers, their is a glass shield that protects the topping but muffles sound. 3. PLAN AHEAD! MOD pizza can get busy cause its so great, you may have to stand in a line, but it IS WORTH THE WAIT!. 4. TRY the desserts! 5. IF you are in a rush, get the APP and place the order AHEAD of time. 6. YOU CAN CUSTOM make your OWN pizza! i HIGHLY advise you to do this, you wont regret it. if the pizza does not look like the way you want it before it goes into the oven, TELL THEM!! dont just take what they give you! its a CUSTOM pizza, just like that sandwich place. Thank you MOD pizza for a great date night for me...

The pizzas flavor was good besides it being drenched in sauce and not even sliced. Ingredients taste fresh but yeah.. details below
Ordered a pizza online for pickup, Saturday March 16, at 8:55pm. Asked for sauces (Sri- rancha and Ranch) on the side in the âSpecial Instructionsâ as it was for sharing and my partner doesnât enjoy the sauces. I arrived earlier than the pick up time, so I patiently waited for about 5 mins in the pickup area, didnât want to interrupt the worker finishing other pizzas at the expo station. It wasnât until he closed up the pizza that I later learned was my order, that he asked me what my order was and he handed me the pizza. I asked for the sauces as he only handed me the box, he said he already put the sauces right on the pizza, I explained to him that I had asked for the sauces on the side and itâs on the ticket on the box, he just responded with a, âoh,.. sorry about thatâ Another male overheard and approached us, I suspect was the shift lead or manager, and asked, âWhatâs wrong?â the first employee told him he put the sauces inside on accident & all the shift/manager said was, âOkay.â & walked away. Slightly frustrated not trying to complain to someone who showed little regard for the error, I just left with my pizza. Then when I get home & notice my pizza isnât sliced. Ordering online is helpful to both the consumer and for the store, but it makes it much less convenient when the quality or accuracy of the order is not...
Read moreShort, stocky dude with terrible tattoosâshaped like an off kilter mini fridgeâprobably shouldnât be working the night shift if heâs that pressed to clock out. I walked in at 10:38 PM (22 minutes before closing, mind you), and he straight-up groaned and hit me with a dramatic âCome on!!â like I just ruined his night by wanting a pizza.
Then a few more people came in and he totally lost itârushing them, telling folks to âfigure it outâ with their toppings like it was a timed challenge (they had 12 minutes left) When I asked for extra pesto to finish mine, he goes, âYou just want more everythingâmore chicken, more cheese, more pesto.â Yeah, bro. Thatâs the whole point. Itâs a build-your-own pizza spot, IM BUILDING MY OWN PIZZA đ€Łđ
Foodâs still fire, 10/10. His attitude? 2/10. I get itâitâs Friday night, youâve got plans. But if youâre that bitter, text your group chat or talk shit to your coworkers in the back like a normal human. Donât take it out on the people keeping the lights on.
Youâre also literally next to an In-N-Outâa place thatâs packed all the time and somehow still has amazing customer service. You guys get spillover traffic when their lineâs insane, so maybe act like you want the business.
Iâm not excited for our future awkward encounters lol, but Iâm still coming...
