Had the most grotesque bizarre experience tonight 11/12/23. Found 2 king silk sheets sets 2 beautiful throws & a doggie bed all for 100$. Was happy to get my dog a new doggie bed & my son new bedding since our other dog that used to sleep in his bed just passed away last night. I get to the cashier & since bags seem to be ALWAYS an issue I also add 3 bags that r 1/3 of the ones that you can buy @ Marshall’s or Home goods & say Ross on them so other than for garbage not much use. The cashier shaves all 5 items in a bag. & insists that it’s only one bag per transaction after I am about to pay 100$ on this transaction & I purchase 5 items that don’t fit in the bag I shouldn’t be forced to buy 10 bags to cary the 5 items . 5 to wrap in & 5 to carry. She flat out refused to sell me 1 more plastic bag. So I told her ‘ you know what since you can’t give me another bag how about you give me 2 more bags or I am not buying anything. Than this other lady appeared and said ok you can have 1 more bag. At that point I was over the whole horrible guest experience. So, I said Never mind I can go to Marshals. I am not shopping here because you guys have a nasty attitude. & they do. We get it people shop there because you have good deals not for the AMAZING guest experience. But to have such contempt & disdain for our money is DISGUSTING. When people buy stuff even if it’s a good deal they want to feel good about their money spend. & I felt treated like total irrelevant, gum stuck at the bottom of their shoe. That I needed to be grateful for them to take my money. Shaving my dogs bed & covers in like trash. Marshall’s , Home Goods they treat customers like customers not like beggars. I have to bag & negotiate a plastic bag? I could have said 1 bag per transaction awesome. Let’s do 5 transactions. Than you need to give me 5. But this is supposed to be a guest experience. I forgot to mention that. I just went on Amazon & got everything to be delivered tomorrow before sundown. & when AMAZON makes Ross go out of business just as they did many other businesses. Don’t ask why. We still try to shop in stores for the human interaction in this case a pass. & to help people keep their jobs. This one’s might need to consider something that doesn’t include human interaction. Maybe a...
Read moreI truly appalled with the way I was treated while browsing through the clothing isle. Initial when walking in I was politely greeted by a security guard that carried himself in such a way that his energy made me feel safe while shopping after leaving the shampoo and conditioner section I moved onto the clothing area and that’s when I felt the energy shift and then I began to feel like I was being followed I was made, felt so uncomfortable that once I got my clothing into the changing area, they immediately made a shift change, and the Lady double searched my clothing and then made sure to look me up and down to see if I had any clothing on me as if I was stealing I began to look around and I was the only Hispanic person there I know right now there’s a lot of things going on in Los Angeles with the immigrants but I am a citizen once, I was born here in the United States. I don’t even speak Spanish and I am of Native American dissent and I have money. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to buy the clothes I wanted to so I start to go to go and pay for my items are ready in my own cart and as I got to the front I realized it was the lighter, complected security guard who was watching me. I even left my clothes and didn’t wanna try them on anymore and just left because I was made to be felt so uncomfortable and as I walked out, the security guard made a derogatory comment that I choose not to repeat, but which was very unprofessional I’ve never been treated more Crawley in my life. The African carried and conducted himself in a professional manner, your lighter complected security guard. Looks like he has no idea what he’s doing and looking tough doesn’t get...
Read moreThis location provides horrible customer service. After wait in line for over 15 minutes because they only had one cashier, mind you two manager where in the front gossiping about another manager, i processed to make my return. The cashier said she had to get approval from the manager to return and item I had my receipt but apparently they couldn’t return it because of the tag and the price. After waiting another 10 minutes for the manager to come to the front. He didn’t address me or even acknowledge me he just said you guys need to check the information before you make me waist my time and come to the front rolled his eyes and walked away. The loss prevention then told me. Mind you I was standing there next to him so he could have spoke to me. So I asked if he could call him to come and speak to me. The manager declined and sent someone else. They ended up telling me to go back to the strore. I refused because I had my receipt, the receipt very clearly said what the item was and the price matching the shoes. He was just being a completely incompetent. Didn’t even take the time to check the item. They have such a hard time assisting a paying customer but don’t mind waisting time following the person who walked out of the store with alot of clothes. After speaking to corporate they told me the same thing if you have the receipt and the item clearly says what it is why are they giving you a hard time. They went ahead and processed the return but it should not have taken the 40+ minutes to do this. They said the store manager was Luis he completely incompetent ! Ross needs to do better at promoting people who clearly aren’t qualified...
