Emerald Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Ordered Tom Khar and Green Curry to-go. The service was excellent and friendly. My to-go order was ready when I arrived, I was offered a free Thai Tea, and they made sure to enclude utensils and napkins for me.

While the flavor of the Tom Khar and Green Curry wasn't bad, I thought both dishes had too much coconut milk , especially the Tom Khar. I've tried a lot of Thai places and find that many places don't put enough coconut milk. Surprising to find a place that does the opposite.

I also ordered both dishes medium spicy. I was nervous about what their version of medium spicy would be since I've tried some places where medium is barely edible, but both turned out so mild I could have gone with the hottest option.

I would rate it 3 stars, but they were so nice I gave an extra star...

Bad experience!! I ordered through postmates so i ordered the garlic and chicken with broccoli and garlic rice, and I fisrts off they gave me very small portion and the rice was hard and crunchy as I was chewing, but I the bad part was I started having digestive issues after eating that rice! Please be aware that they might give you old rice 🍚 the other meal i Ordered for my boo was fine the chicken was cool and the jasmine rice was fair! But my meal was a waste of money 💵! I had to call customer service but waited for 2 1/2 hours to finally get to someone to get to someone to tell me I could get a partial refund or store credit for the expired rice or what it was. At one time, Nid and Nud were on top of the selection. However, the last few times the roasted duck was TERRIBLE. In fact, there is not a good excuse for serving duck which seemed more lke the plate was full of left-overs from different diners plates. It is hard to believe they are prejudice, racist, and evil when there have been many individuals referred to the restaurant. The vegetables tasted like they were left from a few days and were about spoiled. It was shameful that they would rather serve substandard roasted duck when they could have gonve to the area near: First and Broadway to get many fresh ducks. Hated to see the way the restaurant went downhill...
