New York's Chopped Cheese (Mid-City) — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place is very cool and the food is great. My first couple of experiences were exceptional and the staff that helped me was amazing. but unfortunately the last two recent times I visited - I had an awful experience with a younger male employee by the name of Cesar. He thought it was amusing to play the music so loud that I had to scream my order to him and when I asked why the music was so loud he made some remark about keeping customers out of the store, or something like that.

It’s unfortunate that one person alone can make an experience terrible.

I am still leaving 5 stars because I still loved my food and overall I love the establishment. There is just one individual that unfortunately made my past two experiences unpleasant.

Greasy mess. No flavor. $20. Gone. I discovered this restaurant on Uber Eats. They had a buy one, get one deal + $10 off. I did a little research. A lot of people on Reddit seem to enjoy it (first mistake) and there was a deal so I took advantage. I wish I hadn't. I love Philly cheese steak sandwiches. I thought I had Covid or something because all I taste was grease. Whatever this is probably rose my blood pressure because now my head hurts a bit. Bad customer service. Felt that the young girl working on the register taking my order was racist.

Her demeanor change as soon as I walked into the restaurant. This was my first time there. I always passed by and wanted to try the chopped sandwiches and she ruined my experience. She spoke with attitude.and was not polite. But to she polite to the other Black customers. Just not me. I still bought my chopped cheese and still tipped them. She should be fired for making people feel that way. Great sandwich bad customer service...
