Let me start by saying this. Honestly I have never been to this place all of my experiences have been through delivery orders. The first time I ever ordered from this place it was so good and decently priced I was very excited to find a new little cafe/bakery that makes good quality products. I ordered a few weeks later and wondered what happened. I assumed they had a really stressful day or they were busy or whatever (as someone who works customer service specifically at a coffee shop I understand those days) so I didn’t really think much of the fact that my order was completely wrong. I didn’t throw a fit because there are bigger problems in the world you know? So, being one of my favorite little gems to order from.. I gave them another chance this morning! I had a craving for it. I ordered my usual sandwich, pastry, and coffee. I also ordered my vegetarian partner an egg salad sandwich and a pastry. Not only did they give me the wrong sandwich but they also gave me a chicken salad sandwich instead of egg salad. So, not only did I not get the sandwich I ordered but my partner who doesn’t eat meat couldn’t eat their sandwich. The pastry my partner ordered was also wrong. So this entire order was a bust. I may be nit picking here because of the other issues but the coffee I ordered was also not great. Now keep in mind I also make coffee for a living and serve it to sometimes ungrateful people. I’m not typically one to complain unless it’s horrible. With that said the coffee looked like it was thrown together. There were 3 separate layers. Syrup, milk, espresso. Now, I have functioning hands.. I can stir but it was just kind of the icing on the cake. You know? I want to experience this place in person because you always have more control over the situation if you’re doing that but I pack delivery orders of food and drinks all day… there are so many ways to avoid this type of situation. I’ve noticed the leadership at this location tends to be responsive and actually reads these so I have a suggestion. If you’re out of something there are a handful of options you can choose from to handle the situation. 1. (This only works if you’re able to directly reach out to the person who ordered if not then disregard) call the person who ordered and tell them you’re out of the thing they ordered ahead of time. That level of customer service will improve your reviews and numbers so much more than you’d think. 2. Wait until the delivery driver comes to pick up the order and have them reach out to the person who ordered to let them know you’re out of the items they ordered. 3. (And this is arguably the most overlooked but BEST option if the others don’t work) WRITE. A. NOTE. Seriously. As a customer if I had gotten just a little “sorry! We’re out of these things! :(“ note or something like that I wouldn’t have even written this entire book of a review. I promise I am not trying to deter anyone from going to this establishment. They just need some serious training on customer service, communication, quality control, or all...

Read moreLet me start out by saying the pastries we got from here were good, but I’ve had better. It was the way they treated us and the horrible experience we had that renders this rating, though. At the register, after ringing in our order, they told us that their espresso machine was not working, so they could only serve coffee or tea. I ordered a coffee and my mom and I sat down. 15 min through I still couldn’t drink the coffee because it was a scorching hot. My mom went to get an empty cup from the front, and the manager made an exorbitant ordeal, not allowing her an empty cup. My mom explained why she needed it, and assured her we weren’t sharing (which, even if we were, we paid for it already) I just needed an empty cup to split it into so it cooled off enough that I could actually enjoy it with my pain au chocolat. They still refused, saying we could use a plastic water cup (clearly they aren’t versed on the detrimental effects of pouring hot liquid into cheap plastic). When we got upset, the owner had the audacity to call my mom a “crazy woman” because we told them this was not the way to treat customers. Astounded at the display of utter rudeness, pettiness and misogyny all in just a 20...
