Western Bagel — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Came here to get breakfast on my break at 6 am. I work 12 hour graveyard shifts. I will start by saying that I was the ONLY customer in the store. Being the only customer in the store, I had no worries as to how my order would come out as all attention was on me. I was helped immediately. I ordered a traditional everything with a pizza bagel. I had asked for the pizza bagel to be cut open and the sauce and cheese placed inside the bagel rather than just on top of the bagel. Employee helping me acknowledged my request. He asked if I want everything on the traditional, including capers, and I said yes with extra capers and lox if possible. He acknowledged my request. I got back to work and opened my bag. The traditional bagel was excessively burnt to a point I couldn't eat it. There was no capers on there at all, he had put cucumbers instead. I had to pick off the 2 pieces of lox and eat that, however I did get charged for extra lox and they did not put extra lox. And the pizza bagel was cut open like I asked, but instead of putting cheese and a sauce inside of it he put a piece of sausage inside it and left the cheese and sauce on top. So not only did he over charge me and ignore all my requests but he also made my breakfast very awful. Not like I could go back because I still had another 4 hours of work to go. Horrible horrible horrible horrible. Usually they are better than this. Again, i was the only customer in the store. There is no reason for them to mess up. Will leave this review as one star unless business owner wants to resolve...

I took my wife here to grab breakfast since we were in the area. I never came to a Western Bagel but wanted to try it so this morning was the day. I found parking alright since it was early in the morning before the rush. When I walked in, they weren't that busy but I can see the line backing up during the rush hours. They have indoor and outdoor dining. I got the chocolate chip bagel and my wife got the jalapeños chesse bagel, we also asked for cream chesse as well. It took a while for our bagel to come out but it might have been that we asked for it to he toasted. Be aware that if you ask for cream chesse, they put a lot on the bagel which I didn't like. So next time I'll be sure to ask for it on the side or do it myself. My wife loved her jalapeños chesse bagel and I thought the chocolate chip bagel was good, I couldn't taste the chocolate though. The hardest part here is exiting because a lot of cars are trying to turn left on Ventura so it back...

I placed a pick up Order through the app and the first time I placed my order it told me that there was an error and retry submitting my order so I put in a second order and they completely charge my card twice when I came into the store store and told him I didn’t want to be charged twice, and I didn’t want two sandwiches the manager on duty shrugged, offered me no solution, and told me to deal with it on my own. It’s a shame I really like coming here and I love the food but I will no longer be coming here because as someone who also works in the retail industry, the least you could do is offer some kind of solution to your customers instead of saying “oh, well, don’t know what to tell you”.
