ok...so I tried this place out on a whim, before going to see a movie and holy moly I about jazzed my pants! I've had Peruvian food before and while i'm not a fan of their type of rice and beans (mexi way is just the best!) this place hands down has the best freaking pupusas! their cheese alone adds a ton of flavor and the size of their pupusas is just perfect! oh amazing!

I ordered the deviled shrimp my first time, my bf got the chicken/yucca plate and omg....I just about creamed my pants when I tried his dish it was so effing delicious. it has shrimp on it too, stuffed with that crazy tasty cheese and a chunk of yucca on the side. my shrimp plate was very tasty as well but I tell you, that cheese is crack! the nice thing is their "tortillas" are literally like pupusas as far as the thickness and ingredients. so freaking good! and they give you these yucca French fry cut styled appetizer that comes with guac and beans for free. though last time I went I didn't get them and I was seriously so sad girl bc they are just so tasty!

my second visit I got a carne asada burrito and while their meat is really, those rice and beans did kill it for me. it's just not the same as a Mexican burrito bc of that which I shouldn't expect at a Peruvian place but I did anyway. my friend got the plate that like fried pork with yucca chunks and a salad under it. yo...that thing was so cheap and so good! I was surprised!

all in all, freaking delicious food. only downside and be ready to wait. maybe it's bc everything is so fresh but it takes a while to get your food and the waitresses are not the most attentive which sucks bc well, It wasn't busy either times I went and I still couldn't get refills on my water. food more than makes up for it though so I don't care lol. just make sure to get...

I'm glad I found this place while searching on Google. The food was delicious and you could tell just by looking at them they were going to taste great. We all ordered pupusas and two plates of yucca con chicharrón. Each of us ordered different combinations, cheese, revueltas (cheese, chicharrón, and beans), cheese and chicharrón, and one pupusas revuelta made with only rice flour. (Very delicious) The yucca con chicharrón was cooked just right unlike other places that tend to either undercook or overcook it. My only issue with this place was the customer service. They were nice when they came to take our order, bring our drinks, and then brought us our food. However, those were the only three times they came to our table and it was like that for everyone else around us. We had to get up after twenty minutes of waiting for the check and had to go to the front to ask for it and for to go plates. Overall, the food itself was delicious enough to justify the 5 stars, the service could definitely be a little more attentive, and the prices are okay. In the end, I would definitely come back here again...

I just went through to eat with my family on Sunday they made us wait about 20 or 30 minutes to be on the waiting list it was crowded but it went by fast. I loved their menu because it actually had pictures so for people that are trying Salvadori and food for the first time it’s amazing! I ordered two Pupusas one loroco con Queso and carne asada with cheese and let me tell you I have tried many proposals before but from right here it has been my favorite Pupusas I’ve ever had. They were so delicious and the size is a good size and the best part is that they stuff it with whatever you ask for it and they have a variety of Pupusas. I also ordered Pollo con crema with steamed veggies and it had mushrooms and potatoes and also it was delicious and very creamy. Some of my family members ordered Pupusas and another family member ordered a fajitas plate and it was a huge plate with good portions of the fajitas rice and beans and a green salad and tortillas on the side which are made by hand. Other than that I recommend it and I will definitely...

I drive from North OC, 20 miles away, to Have a meal at this place, Jefferson area of LA. It's in an unassuming former taco bell by the design i suppose, but what's most important is the the quality and authenticity of the meals here. visited this place like 10x so far. I normally have a signiture breakfast: casario, which is mixed rice/beans, scrambled eggs with chives and tomatoes, fried plantains, queso fresco, hand made tortillas and Salvadorian style cream. But today I had a hankering for sopa de pata. It's mixed vegetables, tendons, and beef tripe . Also comes with: on the side, white rice, diced onions and chopped cilantro and two thick tortillas. This meal will knock you out!! And don't forget to order the mixed fruit drink- ensalada!!!

The food was really good, the service is really bad, tables were cleaned but still looked dirty. I asked for a cleaning wipe, to clean myself and the host brought a dry paper towel. The women's restroom was really dirty, no seat covers, toilet paper and paper towels all over the place. The waiting time and serving time is too long. If you expect to be seated and waited expect to be there for a long time approx 2hrs 30min The whole restaurant had 2 waitresses ONLY for a Sunday mid afternoon. One would come take the other and we wouldn't see them the rest of the time and finally we asked the Seating host for the bill and it took 30 minutes to get. I suggest take out order ahead with time.
