Service and food on August 2, 2019 was splendid except towards the end when one of owners regular customer told me more than twice that I need to leave since the restaurant owners and children were closing and cleaning up. Once that customer told me that I walked out and leave. Just today, I called the owner of the restaurant, their kids picked up the phone and I told them what happen. From there I told them that I most likely will not comeback to their restaurant after what happen towards the end on August 2, 2019. Overall, I give the service and what their customer did to me two stars when I wanted to give one star. Great Sri Lankan food! We went on a Wednesday and they had a limited menu but the food was delicious! ( it might have been roti night) I had Ghodamba roti, a friend had pol ( coconut ) roti, another Kottu roti and another had fried rice. All came with choice of curry and an amazing onion sambol. I couldn't stop eating the sambol! Also ordered beef curry and potato curry. They give you lots of food. Not much in way of ambiance outside or inside but the tasty food makes up for it. They have re opened in Van Nuys on Sherman Way. E of Woodley next to Siam Cafe. Call first, this has no real sit down dining. Quality of food isnt what it was in West Hills & stuffed buns are dry & prices have gone up immensly.
