Pete's Burgers — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The quality is always the same and for that they deserve all the stars in the world. I’ve been coming to Pete’s since I was a kid. The food is always made fresh and served piping hot. The fried chicken it is yummy and very crispy; it is served with fries and salad on the side. The burgers are just as delicious and you can get them served just about any way you want. Onion rings are to die for… Always crispy an extra big.

They have a small dining hall that seats several families and a to go window both inside and outside of the restaurant. Parking is limited but there is enough and there’s also street parking available as well. Kudos to the owner who pays attention to the restaurants needs. Been coming here since the late '80s early '90s. What I love about this place that I haven't been here in a while is that the food taste the same. The recipe for the chicken dinner, steak dinner, and hamburger special is the same taste which is so delicious. You have so many other places that change a little bit on their menu how certain things taste or they try to get off fancy and put others things in it try to do different things to it and mess it up by doing that. Employees were friendly and polite. Facility was clean and organized. Had issues with POS system, cashier took order properly but items were missing.

Areas for opportunities of improvement:

Cashiers could be coached on POS systems and how they operate. For instance; cashier was insisting that my Mastercard pin had to be 4 digits, when all cards, except from AMEX, such as Mastercards, VISA and Discover cards only carry a 3 digit pin. Lastly, when doing food expo, pay more attention to item list before it’s given out to the customers so items are not missing.

Overall, food was great! That’s why gave them 4 stars, because what’s a burrito without salsa...
