Pho Hoan My — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I don’t know the name of dish but I absolutely love the one with tapioca noodles and thick soup. It’s very different from others I've tried—lots of seafood and quail eggs, which make it stand out. One day, I went in and ordered the same dish. It was so delicious that I finished it all and wanted to take the leftover soup home, but I was too embarrassed to ask. After I complimented the food, the super charming owner asked if I wanted the soup to go. I was so happy and immediately said yes. She came back with a bag and even gave me extra noodles so I could enjoy it again later. She truly knows customer service! When you see her, you’ll know—she has such a big personality and a smile that lights up the place....

Best pho I have had Period. You can really taste the love! I have driven by this place many times and sad that I missed the opportunity to enjoy their food before today. I had the Vietnamese beef noodle soup (pho). The beef was tender and flavorful yet not overpowering. The broth was perfect, not too salty and full of all the right spice. The menu was full of other great dishes that I cannot wait to try. I met Hoan, who told me I would not need extra condiments for my soup, and he was right! My son found a cockroach in his pho. When I told the woman waiting on us she took the napkin before I could take a picture then asked him if he wanted a new bowl. I said wouldn't it come from the same spot of soup? She said yes but we weren't going to eat anything made in their kitchen. We had not eaten anything so we stood up and left. As we were walking out the door the woman screamed yoU pay for your drinks. I told her I don't pay for anything in a restaurant that serves cockroaches to their customers.
