Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Bing!....I just received a pop ad for Free Delivery @1030 Halloween night. Cool let's pick a pizza... Bing!! Another pop-up ad for large pizza shaped like a smiling JACK-O'-LANTERN for 9.99🎃 perfect I'm ready to order the price changes to 10.99 as I click checkout. I thought that was a little misleading but I didn't trip over the random price increase. So now everything is set and after tax my total came to $13 something. Confirmation sent to my email and I wait for delivery....⏳ Hour or so later I get a text stating my order is ready for pickup!!??? Say what!!! I had free delivery 🚗(😒not cool) So I call Papa John's and select #2 for customers that have already ordered option📱. I just wanted to switch the mistake made by there website and have them switch back to having it delivered for free. 👎🏽👎🏽Nope.Nope.. instead I'm ignored and get put on hold listening to advertisements for 12min!? I hangup and I call rb this time selecting #3 for new orders.... immediately customer service picks up from a call center who handles their orders. She tells me she's going to speak with the restaurant and see if they can still deliver after midnight. So she transferred me to the store and I was told to wait for them to confirm on hold....8min go by and I'm furious so I hangup. 🌡️Ready to blow up I call back again and demanded the direct store phone# .....ring ring ring someonee picks up the line doesn't say hello or even a single word. 👀 Weird so I sat sighlently listening to the chief open and close oven doors and tinkering sounds for 5min before I hang up and call that # back which never gets answered. I'm guessing the chief never hung up my first call purposely avoiding any inbound calls. Ok at this point the fuze is line and the bomb inside me has been activated 💣 at this point I'm passed pissed off and speechless knowing that after all my efforts I didn't get a single call back or an email or a text following up. I was shocked how horrible this is going so I said screw it 😠 🚮 and called back in and simply ordered again over the phone this time. So pissed I never cancelled my first order from 2hrs ago!!! That's crazy they just screwed my order and left me hanging 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 so I paused for a moment gathered myself and realized it's Halloween and this is the only pizza place opened and I have mouths to feed. So it's now 1230am and I wait an additional 45min for my new pizza to arrive. My new total comes to 18.99 which includes tax and delivery because the free delivery is for online orders. Customer service didn't care one bit what I just experienced so I said screw the argument and just paid the driver $20 and i headed back inside the house. It's now almost 1:30:in the morning, we are allowed starving and anxious I wanted to boots our holiday spirits with this cool jack-o'-lantern pizza I just paid double for😵‍💫🍕 🎉🎃.... I open the pizza with excitement and guess what we see...yup, you guessed it. THE WRONG FREAKN PIZZA... Hold up ppl it gets worse 😆 I go back to the website and I write two complaints for two locations because I couldn't find the store number. I requested to hear back from management and I'm sure you know what happened next.... That's right ppl, Papa John's doesn't even attempt to call me back, apologies, or at least acknowledge my efforts, send an email, text, or even wave at me lol they don't give a darn or even give a rats.ass about multiple compliments and countless calls waiting on hold. I HAD A REAL HALLOWEEN NIGHTMARE DEALING WE PAPA JOHNS CARLESS BEHAVIOR. I'll probably end up with PIZZA DELIVERY PTSD from this... I will never eat pizza again, too...

I ordered wings, pizza, bread sticks, and Oreo bites from the papa John’s website. After placing the order I saw that their delivery system is through DoorDash. If I knew that earlier, I would’ve just placed my order through DoorDash and avoid the delivery fee. Also, my wings were missing from the order. Again, DoorDash would’ve helped with this but since I ordered from their website I tried contacting the store many times, no answer. No one will answer your call here. I went on to submit a form online in hopes of getting a refund. It stated that management had 48 hours to respond. No response. I decided to go in person, manager wasn’t there. I left a note with my number, no call back. I called their customer service who assured me they’d resolve this in 48 hours. NO RESOLUTION! Who’s surprised? Not me. I give up. The dough is sitting outside of a fridge and flies were coming right in and landing on the crusts that are on a rack, EXPOSED. They don't even post the prices to see what you're paying for. Like a store out of a scary movie. Seriously, they need to improve the Sanitation Policy. No hair nets, no wash sink that customers can see, worker NOT USING GLOVES while making the food! Right after putting phone plugs in her ears and brushing her hair out of her eyes. DO NOT EAT OR ORDER FOOD FROM AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT DOESN'T ENFORCE WEARING GLOVES AND HAIR NETS WHEN FOOD PREPARATION IS BEING DONE. I'm sure the owner doesn't know what is happening under their own noses. If they do, they need to be shut down.
