Worst customer service I have ever had. I usually don’t review places as I don’t have a compelling reason to.

But this occasion was different. We were chastised like kids and told not to come back unless we do “the right thing”.

We made a genuine mistake in assuming our chicken shawarma was going to come in wrap form. Our table of 4 split our orders into two so there was some confusion with the servers regarding our dish. We tried to patiently explain and accept the dish they made us. However the main person at the counter and the cook were quite annoyed with our confusion.

The lady at the counter came to us with a message from the chef: “The next time you come back and do this, I won’t remake your food.”

First of all, we told her twice to give us the cold plate of chicken shawarma over rice. We didn’t ask for the wrap to be made or a new plate of chicken and rice. I don’t go to restaurants to be treated like a petulant child. We made a genuine mistake and just wanted to eat our food! She stayed by the table defending the message then apologized after, saying she was just doing as told. If you want to apologize, take ownership and don’t make it about someone having a bad day at the grill, especially when you vindictively pointed out that we were wrong.

Tl;dr we were visiting town and just wanted to eat. But a cook in a bad mood, a new server and the person-in-charge who couldn’t filter a bitter message ruined it for us. Food was great...

This place was an absolute disappointment, and I didn’t even eat there. On 05/09/21, at about 5:00pm, I phoned in an order that I was going to pick up at 6:00pm, during my lunch hour. I arrived just before 6:00pm to pick up my order, and was told that the order would take another 10 minutes. I agreed to wait. I actually waited 25 minutes before I decided to just leave and go to the drive-thru at the Burger King next door. During that 25 minute wait, however, I witnessed extreme disorganization, confusion, and more lack of direction than I’ve ever seen behind a restaurant counter. The fat guy with the colored hair and red hat appeared to be in charge but was all over the place; taking phone orders, delegating tasks in the cooking area, and bussing trays in the customer area, all without washing his hands. The two cooks in the kitchen appeared overworked and tired. The three other employees appeared confused, undirected, and unmotivated. One kid with blond hair thought it was more important to wrap forks in napkins than to help taking phone orders or help the cooks. There is no excuse or justification for this kind of confusion. I’m sure the food is good, but this restaurant is not going to last unless the business leadership properly trains their staff and closely monitors the proper functioning of the overall restaurant operations.
