Skyways Hotel — Hotel in Los Angeles

It is a motel, not a hotel and it is pretty cheap. However, you will find anything you need: a good bed, hairdryer, parking area, close to the rental cars and the airport, some coffee in the bedroom. The structure is old and the bathrooms not super clean (there were hairs in the hot tub that were… well, not mine). Apart these things, if you are just looking for a place to stay for a few nights next to the airport, it is fine overall. A very negative point is the shuttle; they do not have a shuttle service and were not clear about this with me. Basically you need to take the rental cars bus services and hoping you will not be asked to show your rental car reservation. Apparently, they usually don’t ask it but I felt uncomfortable in the shuttle. Also, they did not explain well the situation with the shuttles and I got lost and had to take an Uber. One last point: it’s not super silent either for the airplanes noise and the constructions next to the motel. But, again, overall it was fine and...

Booked this hotel purely to take a shower before my flight at LAX. I was so glad i did not have to stay for more than the 1hr that i was there. At check in, the worker was laughing and making fun of my last name and asked if anyone has thought it was funny. My partner and I did not make a single smile or laugh, he just kept going, it was so rude and unprofessional. Like read the room..? The bathroom only had 1 bath towel, the booking was made for 2. So we ended up just sharing. The shower was barely hot, lukewarm at best. The bed sheets had stains in it. The place is generally run down, dingy, and loud from the planes passing... (sound to be expected due to the proximity to the airport, just something to note). The worker suggested to take a "free shuttle" to LAX, just to also note, its technically free for PAYING customers of the car rental as it is signed on the bus.
