Great little place, tucked away on N. Main St. The food here is delicious and affordable. We were staying at the Metro Plaza Hotel, and we didn't want to have to drive anywhere to find something to eat. This place is on the same block as our hotel, so it took no time at all to get there. This is a tiny little space, with just enough room for people to stand in line, and a few tables inside. There's more seating outside, but I would recommend taking your meal elsewhere to enjoy. They made smoothies, agua frecas, and juices here, as well as other well-known Mexican/Central American dishes. I ordered the chicken wrap, and a strawberry raspado. The chicken wrap came with a side of freshly chopped fruit. The wrap was large, and I could only finish half of it in one sitting. The raspado was amazingly fresh, and large. If I'm ever back in this part of LA, I'll be sure to stop...
Read moreStopping by at this place to grab a quick bite awhile back to visit my friend because they always had that 2.50 burrito thing going so why the hell try it out. I told the lady I wanted the asada burrito she said okay but when she was taking my order she kept staring at me which felt uncomfortable. So I was done ordering that burrito and she repeated my order and said yes the order is correct. 15 min wait just for this burrito hoping it would be the best damn thing ever. I didn't check my order before I left because I would've missed the bus which I messed up I should've doubled check on what I got the lady gave me nachos?? I clearly didn't ask for these what's worst is they didn't even taste good. So yeah never again even my friend didn't eat it she didn't like them and never again I'll go to this place even my bf warned me...
Read moreI remember going to eat at this place with my friend who happened to be African-American. It was a very bad experience. After we ordered our food and took a seat a female came from the back of the cafe and was staring at my friend and he whispered to me why is she looking at me like that? but as I looked at her she had the look on her face as she was waiting on my friend to start eating his food. So I told my friend do not eat your food throw it away. He got up and immediately dumped it in the trash as she watched him, he sat back down and I shared my food with him and when I looked at the worker she rolled her eyes at me and disappeared into the back of the cafe. I knew she did something to my friends food back there I just had that gut feeling she did just that. I would never go back to that...
