Pokitomik — Restaurant in Los Angeles

dawg imma be SO honest. I never have ever gone out of my way to write a review. this place was absolutely DISGUSTING. very bad service. the food was everywhere but in the containers. the workers atleast wore gloves but there was hair on the counters and it was just overall disgusting. i asked for miso soup and this guy left my open poke bowls with NO LID on the counter while he “helped other customers” couldn’t you have atleast closed it because it took you 5 min to make some miso soup. i’m fine with waiting but dawg atleast close the bowl. atleast they tried with the customer service. and “tried” is pushing it.guy taking my order gave me hella attitude. don’t know if it was intentional or not. after waiting way too long for my miso soup another worker checked me out and winked at me after apologizing for it taking too long. gross.both of them were way to invested with the movie on the tv or some other things but not in the cleanliness of what they were doing. The back room from what I could see at checkout looked absolutely horrid. Everything about this place was so off. I expected more from PokiTomik as I am a revisiting customer of the Glendale location and never had a problem like this. Either hire new workers or teach them how to clean. Great portions. However, all the proteins sitting in watery liquid. My bowl was soggy and not because of the sauce I used but tasted like soggy seafood. Place was messy. It looks like the owner doesn’t care to cleanup the place, there’s old reviews and you can add mine to the list. This location feels uncared for and needs better guidance. It looks messy feels messy, there were no drinks stocked. Cashiers seem unhappy, I don’t blame them but the overall mood when you walk in isn’t great, add the lack of customer service and it doesn’t help. I don’t blame the employees, but the owner this place lacks love and attention it has so much potential next to a university! I wish I would have enjoyed my food but it was just too soggy. They also had problems with the ordering system and it created a small wait. Please store your food better, especially seafood. Maybe add some music, to even the overall vibe, and definitely cover the food. I don’t know if that meets food safety requirements, but it sure affected the flavor of my bowl. I recently visited the PokiTomik in my neighborhood, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The experience was delightful from start to finish. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and were incredibly helpful in guiding me through their menu options.
