Ramon’s Famous Pizza — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I’ve been ordering at this place for about 15years(good pizza). In the past 3-5 years this place has gone to shame. The current employees gross me out. Most wear what one would wear to play basketball with their friends, while they make your pizza. The guy in charge always makes stupid jokes and wastes my time. And of the youngest delivery boys lies about the amount of money my order comes out to, he rounds the total to the nearest dollar. I don’t mind giving them tips but the kid excepts you to give him the last few dollars left. Ordered a pepperoni and a bbq pizza, wings, and a salad. Pizza was amazing, hot and fresh. Crust is delicious! Buffalo wings were cooked perfectly sauce was tasty and the wings were meaty! Lettuce on the salad was fresh and crispy! Generous portion. One down side is that the salad was on top of the hot wings so by the time it was delivered the salad on the bottom was hot. So tip for customers is to ask and see if they can separate the cold and hot items. (Usual general rule of thumb when packing food, i worked in the food industry for many years from fast food to high end places). Not a deal breaker tho because my food was excellent! This place been there since I could remember and I’m 43 years old , yes, it probably has different owners but the way they make their pizza is still the same and it still has good. Went back a couple weeks ago and my kids love this week so we live 45 minutes away from this place , but my kids said, can we go back and get some more and I said of course.
