Rocco's Tavern -Studio City — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I came back in September 2025! I had an amazing time. I wish we can add a new review since my last review. I really want to shout out the service we had. Candace and Alexandria were truly amazing. They tagged team to make sure we had service. We came to have two rounds of drinks. The Mediterranean place. The olvies were so good. The pita bread was fresh. The fries are perfection with that alioli sauce. Thanks for an amazing time. The house can was pretty decent and the had the baseball game on the screens. We came on a Tuesday night but it wasn't too busy. And I was here before I sat inside but last night, we sat outside.

This was my first time at Rocco's (2023). I just wanted to eat some wings. We came around 1:30pm on a Wednesday. It was pretty quiet. They had soccer on the 📺. From what I hear, it's busy after 5pm. It's a nice spot. There is outdoor seating. The Parmesean garlic wings were ok, but the hot honey BBQ sauce was good. I tried the pizza fries. They were ok. They are soggy, so if that's not for you, don't get. It had cheese, and you can get it with pepperoni or meat sauce. Love the staff. Super cool. Shout out to Brigette. So if I misspelled your name. I come to Rocco’s often for happy hour and wings. I’ve been to most of the locations. This location specifically is a mess. The last few times coming here Candice was my server. She is probably one of the worst servers I’ve ever encountered. My first experience with her ended with me being overcharge. It was happy hour. I had 4 drinks between 2 people (which I always get) I was charged for all 4 drinks. When I brought this to Candice attention, she shrugged and stated she poured me doubles. 1.) I never asked for doubles. 2.) they were lent doubles because I would have tasted the alcohol in the tiny mule cups my drinks were served in. Today I encountered Candice again. This time, just like every other she was inattentive, got my order wrong etc. I had told her I wanted a minute to look at the drink menu but I did put an order in for wings. I had finished my wings before she came to check in or ask for my drink order. Mind you, I can see her standing at the service doing nothing. I have worked in the industry for several years. I would be embarrassed if this was behavior...

PSA!! They will tack on gratuity if your bill is over $150. Read the fine print. I didn't look or read because that isn't a practice I have ever heard of. I double tipped, when I requested a refund the manager told me Corporate would have to handle it. Seriously? I told the manager, perhaps your wait staff should warn your customers. They tack additional charge if you don't pay cash.

Don't order the mussels! They are tiny, no meat and most of them inedible. The wait staff told me to force open them and eat them. I got sick. We believe they replaced high end tequila with well tequila. My friend got sick. The wings are not the same as the recipe used at Rocco's West Hollywood.

I requested a refund from the manager. He was not empathetic and told me Corporate would contact me and handle it. Corporate never called back. We were having a great time, the server was great but their policy and handling of this situation, incredibly disappointing....
