Look, if I got my actual food, I would probably give this place a 5 star rating. The coffees are delicious; a notable favorite being the hoechata (it was yummy). The food took a while to arrive since it was Sunday lunch (that's not the issue). The issue was that the food runner brought my food out (the receipt on the chips with my name on it) and then took it away, saying that he gave me the wrong order and switched it with another customer's burrito. I had ordered a sweet & sabys breakfast burrito and ended up with the most generic bottom of the barrel steak burrito I have ever had. I took a bite before I processed that this wasn't my order, so I just stuck with it. I'm overall disappointed since I did bring it up to the food runner. Also, the table my friend and I were at had a big umbrella that got toppled over due to the wind AND unstable concrete planter that was its base. It nearly hit both my friend and the people next to us throughout the meal.

This one was a clear step up. Solid, flavorful, and put together with care. The breakfast burrito and the chipotle one both had good texture and balance. You could tell the ingredients were meant to be together. There was a sauce inside that helped pull everything together, which made it way more cohesive than other burritos I’ve had lately. The tortilla held up well, and the overall portion was fair. The only thing that threw the flavor off a bit for me was the soy chorizo, but that’s probably just personal taste. I’d give it a solid four out of five. Nothing mind-blowing, but it was genuinely enjoyable. It felt like someone actually thought through the build instead of just tossing ingredients in. I’d order again.

Cute little place on the corner. Mostly outside seating but the patio is dog friendly šŸ• . Coffee was tasty and surprisingly inexpensive. Spanish latte 10/10 would highly recommend. I think it cost something like $7. Chilaquiles was delicious 9/10 would recommend. The steak and shrimp burrito was hefty af but the flavors were kinda clashing. Asada was a little too heavy on the lime 6/10 would probably not order again. Overall I liked this place and I would come back again.

10 10 10 10! This family owned place is AMAZING! It's co-owned by mother (Grisela) and son (Javier).

My husband and I have been coming here every Saturday morning for the last 4 months. It's become our go to brunch spot. We cannot get enough of their chilaquiles verdes. (BEST ChILAQUILES IVE EVER HAD IN LOS ANGELS). Their food is always fresh and delicious. Their pan dulce is also amazing. They've really developed the delicate flavors. Not every bakery puts as much effort anymore.

Javier is doing an amazing job at developing and remodeling the place. It's really upsetting to see reviews speaking negatively about the building itself. This is a humble corner cafe for those looking for delicious authentic Mexican food and not the bells and whistles of an overpriced mediocre Mexican restaurant.

Give this place a shot! You'll fall in LOVE with it!

Also a great opportunity to support a young...
