Santee Falafel — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I recently made a meticulously researched list of the best shawarma in LA and OC. And doggone are they good at it. There shawarma is quite good still, and I would recommend it, but it didn't make the short list. Still, I took the occasion of this report to give this place the highest praise. Here's what I said about Santee Falafel:

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise, but I wouldn’t go especially for its shawarma (it’s actually better than it looks in the picture, but it isn’t award-winning). On top of, no parking we had to pay $15.00 to park. We get inside to find out it was Cash only, what a disappointment.Had to go to a local ATM machine to get Cash. So that was an additional unexpected cost. I felt the owner should have given a discount on our total or something to compensate us for the inconvenience. The food was very good and turned out to be a very expensive...

This place is amazing! The food is cooked to perfection. The chicken is juicy, ingredients are super fresh and tasty. The pita bread is so soft and the hummus is so good. Everything is soooo good, trust me! 10/10 would recommend. The service is excellent every time. Portions are very generous. I cannot express this enough, go try Santee Falafel today!
