I love that there is a 100% halal italian/middle eastern food option for Muslims and halal-eaters in the SFV that does not sacrifice on quality, taste and authenticity. I highly recommend pizza lovers and fans of middle eastern cuisine to give Skewers Halal a chance. My experience detailed below will explain why.
The owner and staff are nice and friendly. Simple decor and outside patio seating available. A good variety of middle eastern and Italian menu items. We ordered a chicken parmigiana sandwich, philly cheesesteak sandwich, buffalo wings and a medium garlic chicken pizza.
The wings came out first (rightfully so as an appetizer) and looked mouth-watering. The buffalo sauce was vibrant and had just the right kick of spice to it but not overwhelming. Well sized and plenty of meat on the bone, I thought the wings stack up well against any local pizza shop's. The chicken itself was slightly dry, but because they were so saucy and had more of a grilled texture, they were still very satisfying. Best part was we ordered a 6 piece and got 7, and wing lovers know how exciting that extra wing is :)
The sandwiches were of very generous portions. My philly cheesesteak was stuffed with melted, gooey cheese, green peppers, onions and plenty of finely sliced meat. It was a little bland and could have used more seasoning in my opinion, but a little crushed pepper fixed that right away. Still a very enjoyable sandwich on its own. The chicken parmigiana sandwich was great as well. The chicken was tender and juicy, coated with a light batter and a well balanced combination of marinara sauce and melted cheese. Adding some spice with crushed peppers to this for me made it much better but overall I loved both sandwiches. I can't wait to go back and try the meatball sub.
The garlic chicken pizza was amazing! I loved that they don't skimp patrons on toppings. The pizza was loaded! I am not usually a fan of white sauce on pizza but the white sauce really complimented the flavors of the garlic chicken, onions and basil well. All in all I think the food was fantastic.

We decided to stop here for lunch and so glad we did. It was an unexpected surprise! Itās kind of hidden in the back of a shopping center. This was our first time trying this small family owned restaurant but weāll definitely be back!
We didnāt have time for the dishes that took more time since we had movie tickets. Weāll definitely have to try them next time. The ambience could use some updating. There is no public restrooms. But, look past this because the food is really worth trying!!
We absolutely loved the Beef Koobideh and Lamb Gyro!! Both were unbelievably delicious and packed with flavor!! It tasted authentic and absolutely fantastic! Donāt miss out on the green chutney!! The food is fresh, made to order and halal. They serve Mediterranean and Italian (they make pizzas too). Great prices!!
Friendly customer service. She took the time to explain some of the dishes and pointed out the ones that would be a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was less than $12. The cost of food is rising nationwide, and the same applies to the prices at this restaurant. You can tell because the old prices are covered over, and the new prices are just written in by hand. However, the prices remain Hella reasonable, and definitely a bargain for the quality and quantity of food you're going to get. I'd been eyeing this location for a while, and I'm glad I got the opportunity to try their food...more specifically, the Lamb over Rice. This will be served with Flatbread, and a salad, which is actually just Iceberg Lettuce thickly sliced with a drizzle of Ranch Dressing. The lackluster "salad" only highlights the Lamb, Rice, and Flatbread, and how plentiful and delicious it all was. (See the picture of the food) I got to save a portion of it for my lunch the next day. It was just as good, coming out of...
