I am not a big review writer. I generally write either great reviews or bad ones. Unfortunately this is a bad one. This Starbucks is pretty busy every morning but my wife goes there very day and I often will go with her as well. Generally, it takes a while to get through the line and at times the person on the intercom takes a while to get what we are ordering even though I am sure they hear the same thing over and over. I do not mind the clarification since that hopefully makes sure you get what you ordered. So today was not that day. My wife and I went there and we ordered the same thing we always order. 2 Trippe Venti Lattes, one with 4 and one with 5 Equal. Most of the time they get it right although once in a while I will get fewer equal or they will forget the third shot of espresso. Since it is too hot for me to taste I generally just drive off and pay the consequences if it is not right. This time it was the same. I drove off and once on the freeway I tasted the coffee. It was terrible. For me it was impossible to drink. I am sure there are folks out there that love it so this is more a statement about me. However, it is not only that I did not get what I ordered, I got just a regular coffee, which they call VT Pike Place with cream and 4 Sweet and Low the taste of which I hate. On top of that, of course the Triple Venti Late is way more expensive, $4.70 compared to the VT Pike crap. So I called them to let them know. The person I spoke with was fairly nice however all he said was sorry, I hope next time we get it right. WOW! REALLY? You hope you get it right the next time? You do not think you should at least give me back the difference in price as a good business effort? Nope! No offer nothing. Just that they hope they get it right next time. Amazing! I know it is not that big a deal. After all it is only a cup of coffee and most likely a difference of maybe $2.00 or so. I am not sure what the regular coffee goes for at Starbucks, but that just shows how little they care about the customer at this place. It truly is not about the $2.00. It is about the service and the attitude. So the two stars I gave this place was mostly because we have been going there since they opened. Read morei have a starbucks near by my house, some days i choose to drive the extra few niles to stay sat in my car, for some odd reason my lazyness has been gettin g the best of me, because no matter how many times i go there and say okay itll be better next time, it never is...the customer service is decent there, but idk what it is whether the employees dont lisyen to their training videos or there plain uncurdious to the customers who order coffee, meaning to say every time i got there and order my venti iced cramelk maccioto upside down, it literally tastes upsidedown, never has the right amount of caramel or the right atsing cofee, everytime i get my coffe from there it tastes like its the end of the batch...sorry starbucks love you guys but i am sure to stay away from this one on deswoto corner of nordoff by the 24...
