Seems to me like customer service, quality coffee, and addressing customer concerns are no longer important at Starbucks. I have been a Starbucks customer since it started many years ago, have visited may Starbucks stores in the US, Mexico, Canada, and Europe. Very much know what to expect. The poor customer service and disregard for decent coffee at this location is totally unacceptable: I ordered a Venti Pike with two shots of espresso. The barista handed me the drink as soon as finished. When I took a sip after walking to my car, I found out my drink was warm, close to room temperature. I walked back and explained the situation to the cashier. He tried making my drink again apparently using the same (warm, stale) coffee previously used on the drink I was returning, but this time he put the steamer in the coffee to reheat it. I just could not believe Starbucks was reheating and serving reheated old stale coffee. I gave up at that point. Took the replacement drink and left. The reheated coffee was also warm. The worst part: I complained to Starbucks using the Contact Us in the app, and nobody has answered in about a week. Perhaps time to take my business elsewhere. Really bad because the vast majority of stores and baristas do a good...
Read moreVery nice looking new place, but don't judge book by its cover! The internet connection is virtually non-exist. Take a look at Speed test:
1st time - "The test can't be completed due to a problem with the network. Try again later."
2nd 0.09 Mbps download 0.49 Mbps upload Latency 53 ms
3rd 0.25 Mbps download For upload speed: "The test can't be completed due to a problem with the network. Try again later."
And a new illness of almost all new spots - all power outlets are carefully removed. It began to be a common practice just after new rule to let use all amenities regardless of purchase anything. Well, for what a paying customer pays for? I mean pretty steep prices that are reasonable only for something more than just a cup of coffee. I personally pay for nice cozy place with steady Internet connection and possibility to recharge my gadgets (smartphones now not just for fun, they became a worktool through work-related apps that usually developed by employer). That particular place have only cozy atmosphere, a lot of space, but nothing else.
So I added it to my own personal "Black List of Starbucks". Never again. Sorry, guys,...
Read moreThe service, the people, and the food/drinks are good, what you would expect from Starbucks. The location is bad. I mean... really bad.
The lazy customers line up for the drive thru like they're giving away free coffee for life only if you don't get out of your car. They block the parking lot and cause traffic on the street.
And, oh, the street. Let's talk about this street. The facing street doesn't allow any stopping at all. The side street where you enter the drive thru is a residential street that is filled with the rightful resident parkers, so you will end up hiking quite a ways if you actually find street parking. No wonder everyone is at the drive thru.
Okay, I'm amending my critique of the clientele since walking half a mile for coffee might be a bit too much for Angelenos. I mean, if you can wait a little bit longer and drive a little further, I would recommend you go to a different location. Or, visit when people don't need to drink coffee, like in the middle of the night since I think this place is...
