The Beast Burger — Restaurant in Los Angeles

So there I was, driving home from a long day of work. When BAM! I was struck with the overwhelming DESIRE to wolf down a burger. And not just any burger… no no the perfect burger… Greasy.. but just the right amount. Flavorful… but just the right punch. Crispy… in all the right places. It was 11:30 pm on a Tuesday and my luck looked like it had surely dried up. (As it often does). When on the last bend of my defeated drive back home I spied Beast Burger on YORK. 5 STARS!!!!! Definitely fire and in my humble opinion, the best burger in town. . I got bison was super juicy, dripped down the side of my mouth, and tasted like American Gold. Owner was a straight up awesome guy and when I called to make sure they were open, answered in the first ring. Very impressive. I got mad respect for the owner. . Just to be clear, not a sit down restaurant, allowing you to enjoy a lower cost for these great fries (parmesan garlic my favorite), hot dogs, and meats. I was at the Hollywood Bowl to see David Gilmour and The Beast Burger's truck was in the entrance. I expected an ordinary food truck burger, but no!

I'm a burger snob: I grind my own chuck from grass fed roast, taking a lot of time to trim off all the connective tissue and double grinding it with a coarse plate. I know burgers.

The Stinky Bacon Burger from these guys is definitely the best food truck burger and up there with the best I've had anywhere. I think it's better than Umami Burger and maybe even better than Nepenthe....
