UPDATE 8/7/22* Today Amari gave me excellent service she was kind and patient as she walked me through their new app process of redeeming the "$1 off" online survey she gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐* I went in here a local favorite of mines on the afternoon of February 28 approximately 1:10-1:20pm. I went in without a mask AFTER MANDATES HAVE BEEN LIFTED on February 25th...i attempted to order (to go) and was met by a boy believed to have been named Julio a cashier ...long story very short he REFUSED to serve me because I wasn't wearing a mask and ultimately ordered me out the store, as I pointed out others in the store maskless dining in...and I pointed out his warped logic and stated "so Covid can tell if a customer is dining in or out now as it pertains to wearing a mask🤦???" he continued to be a mini tyrant & refused to serve me...HOWEVER his PROFESSIONAL, HUMBLE, EMPATHETIC, MATURE & COURAGEOUS CO WORKER Mr Karmicheal (sp) intervened and offered so kindly to serve me...that went south too after i called Julio out of his name !😂 and Julio ordered Mr Karmicheal to stop serving me ...i later called the store to get corporate information and to thank Mr Karmicheal for his kind, selfless gesture ! & for going against the grain for the sake of "righteous and humane" behavior...and rather he realize it or not he did a bold and human act of kindness ! & I appreciated it so much ! ...Mr Karmicheal is a treasure and an asset to his "woke" organization...he also saved CBTL a customer as Julio could care less about losing them a customer ! Read morePeople don’t know any customer service no more if you don’t like your job then fine your self a new one two employees making drinks I approached the register I was standing there for 8min until I ask is anyone taking orders there responded we are busy I told them ok so that’s mean you not taking any orders then she said we kinda busy doing orders I will be right with you first off all you could told me that from the beginning instead of having me to stand there and wonder if you’re taking orders or not when a customer comes into a store or any type Great the customer ( welcome )if you’re busy let the customer know (you’ll be right with them )not ignored the customer I did not get the employee name but I’m sure they are on the schedule this happen today 11/7/22 at 9:30 am you know who you are and you should take classes on customer service zero stars...
Read moreThe coffee was perfectly good. Was waiting at a table outside with my small dog, drinking coffee while my wife was in a consulate in the Equity Building next door. After a while I needed to use the restroom, so I walked in carrying my dog, went down a hall to the right of the counter because it looked like there would be a customer restroom. Then this long-haired employee shouted aggressively at me, "hey buddy! NO!" I turned around to say I was just looking for a restroom. He then aggressively shouted, "NO!!!" a second time, so I just walked out. Honestly it was incredibly shocking. I assume either they just have to deal with a lot of crazy people, and perhaps he just didn't speak English since it was Koreatown, which is fine and understandable but the experience was pretty...
