The Magnolia Grille — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We arrived at approximately 7 am and were the first customers of the day, we were greeted by a very welcoming and friendly server( wish I could remember her name) she brought our drinks and left us to peruse the menu for a few minutes, I ordered the Hobo omelette with hash browns and my buddy ordered the eggs Benedict florentine and 2 pancakes, it took about 10 minutes to get our food and I was very pleased with the look and portion size but the best thing was the taste !!! My omelette was fantastic! Not greasy and the ingredients were super fresh and delicious, the hash browns were just as tasty without being greasy like a lot of places, my buddy said the same thing for his food as well , this place is a must try for any breakfast fan and we will for sure be back, looking forward to having lunch and...

This place looks and tastes like it’s stuck in the 90s and not the good part. The food was terrible, below average at best, I was so disappointed seeing that this place had such a high rating. The glassware and utensils looked like the original set and had severe wear and tear to the point that it made me lose my appetite.

We literally ordered the most dummy proof dishes, the Philly cheesesteak and California Grilled Chicken Sandwich both with curly fries. Both two thumbs way down. It was literally so bad that I sent my Chicken sandwich back and asked for it to be removed from my check.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I’m honestly not even sure how this place is still in business, I love a good hole in the wall/hidden gem but this is certainly NOT...

While I can only speak for myself, the service was the highlight of my experience but could still use some improvement. Unfortunately, the food quality did not match the prices. This was the most expensive breakfast I've ever had, yet it turned out to be the worst (I'm not being dramatic).

The pancakes were overcooked, the scrambled eggs were hard and stiff, and they provided a very small cup of syrup for two large pancakes. To top it off, the orange juice was served in a child-size cup at an adult price. I understand inflation's impact on businesses, but they should reconsider their pricing to reflect the overall dining experience...
