Tacos fiesta LA — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I'm too full to write the lengthy review I usually write, but I'm mad at myself I haven't left one before.

I've probably eaten here at least 50 times in the last two years, eaten through every meat and salsa they have, and every different plate. Tacos Fiesta is hands down the most consistently delicious and satisfying taco truck I've ever found (and trust me, I stop at every new one I come across even if I'm not hungry).

The masa mix they use for everything is just perfect. Fresh hand made tortillas for everything, and I think it's the same dough for all their sopes and empanadas and everything too. Fresh tortillas and good salsa absolutely make a place, and I come here just for both. I live and work as a chef in the neighborhood, and also basically live at NoBar half of the week. Every chance I get, I end up eating here.

Their pastor, birria meat, and buche are some of the best in the valley. Asada, pollo, carnitas, and shrimp are all fantastic too but not my usual choices. I mean honestly everything you get here is great, honestly. The tortas are super well balanced on great bread, and usually whenever I grab dinner I get a torta for breakfast for the next day and it's still delicious. Nacho plates are massive, the tacos are always piled high, but my two bigger meal favs are the empanadas fritas and mulitas. The way they make their empanadas (to order, any meat you choose) are so different and wild to me because the masa dough they use is super thick and crispy, but also somehow really light and fresh. I've had so many from other styles and nationalities, but these are by far my favorite.

You guys are my favorite truck, and always where I come to spend any extra cash I have. I will always support a business like this, especially knowing how tough the restaurant industry is. I feel like I've had a lot of tacos in my lifetime and this is one of the best tacos I've ever had. I didn't even want to write this review to keep this place to myself. Al Pastor is my favorite and their Al Pastor is divine. Most places don't have the rotisserie and just grill their chopped up meat which is super disappointing. This place has the rotisserie and the pineapple. When those bits of freshly sliced pork with bits of crispiness and fat hit your mouth, just...bliss. You can't go wrong with any of the other meats either. Tried most of em and they're also good. My husband drools over their shrimp taco. Only thing is that you have to eat in your car or your food will get cold. They have a small table with seats but the food just gets too cold. The staff is really nice and my order comes...

had me & my friends squatting on the floor and hunched over the table provided eating good & cheap food! we might even bring some chairs next time if we come back in town to visit
