I am a huge fan of this place. Although the menu is packed every item is made extremely well. The portions are generous and the food is very fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is very laidback and not pretentious at all. This is a family friendly location. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a nice casual place for breakfast brunch or lunch. Two thumbs up!!

I had breakfast here for the first time today and the not only was the food delicious and traditional but the service was absolutely amazing. The servers are very kind and make you feel at home. I definitely recommend you try their specialty breakfast and their blended hazelnut coffee.

Great good and service, not much going on in terms of ambiance. I’m very picky with my smoothies and they make them very well. The quesadillas are delicious too!

I think I enjoy the idea of pico cafe more than the actual experience of dinning at pico cafe.

The food is affordable, they have a large variety of dishes to choose from on the menu, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and happen to be walking distance from me.

However, this is more of an illusion. The restaurant is normally dirty, I've been sat at tables and had to request they clean them more than once. The food is normally a let down, today I got a grilled vegetable salad with goat cheese and a Greek bagel. The grilled veggies were cold, they didn't bring out the garlic toast the salad comes with, and the Greek bagel was a sad thin mess at room temperature.

The service is an issue as well. Most servers will argue with small accommodations such as a different cheese, or avocado on the side. The servers are hard to find, you will most likely have to go in and get your server when you need to order, or get your check.

Because they are a kosher restaurant, in a neighborhood where the majority of people keep kosher they get business. This place is great for picky eaters, or to accommodate a larger party.

If this were a non kosher cafe they wouldn't have business at all. There isn't much appeal to a place that is dirty, has poor service, and below average food.

Why do I keep going back? Only because of friends in the area who want something simple like soup, or coffee mid day. Both my company and I normally agree that eating there was a poor decision. Yet we are clearly masochist and continue to dine there again.

Pico Cafe, please change this, so I can change my review and rave about your improvements. I want to like your...

I've been coming to this place for over 15 years. I used to love it. In the last year, I've given them a few chances and I've left upset every time. The service, the quality of food, the portions, and the prices have all changed and are totally absurd. The waiters are extremely rude and impolite and make you feel that you are bothering them every time you ask them for something. (I gave up on extra sauces and dressing after asking 3 times for it and never getting it). Every time I go now, they tell me I am going to have to wait over an hour for my food because they have a lot of take-out orders to take care of. (Why accept dine-in if you can’t provide food within the hour?) They don’t even greet you or smile when waiting on you. And if you aren't happy with the service, you have no choice but to pay 18% tip to them (written in small on the menu). Beyond sick of kosher establishments taking advantage of Jewish people because we have no choice but to eat their food, pay their prices, and accept their terrible service. I could go on and on about all of my multiple terrible experiences here. Definitely...

I ordered a smoked salmon quesadilla and the gourmet three egg omelet with avocado and tomato. The quesadilla was amazing! Very healthy and delicious. The salmon was a bit salty though. The omelet was just ok. I think next time I will get one without tomatoes.

Whether you are visiting LA or want something healthy to eat this is definitely a place to visit!

One thing I did not appreciate was when I called to place my order they hung up on me after about four rings. I called back and they explained it was because it was interfering with a credit card sale. I consider that rude! They should either upgrade their POS system or explain to the customer when they first call to please call back in a minute. Fortunately, their food is good enough for me to want to...
