Craving a coal or wood oven pizza and this place came up. Saw the pics and reviews and off we went. Pizza was just ok. Really wanted to love this place, but think they have a few things to work on. The pizza oven is outside and looks so rustic, I expected your classic “burnt” bottom, crispy crust and piping hot toppings but our margherita crust was soft and sauce only warm. Not an expert maker, just eater, but seemed like the oven could have been hotter or pizza cooked a little longer. The place is pretty much self service, but you have to figure that out for yourself as there is no one to take your order, just a iPad that you have to assume is self service. The place was empty when we went, so looked cool and fun, but when I wanted a cup of ice for my not so cold soda, it took a while. As others have said, if the place is busy, I can only assume what a mess the table would be. I did take a few slices home and reheated in the toaster oven and was much better with a cooked crust and hot toppings. Next time will ask for my pie to be cooked until crispy and see if that makes a difference.

Tic Tac Toe Pizza in Eagle Rock is a gem for hand-crafted, wood-fired pizzas. I tried three types: the classic Margherita, made with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, and olive oil—a simple, delicious choice. The traditional pepperoni was another hit, with high-quality pepperoni that elevates the flavor. My favorite, though, was their signature Tic Tac Toe pizza with pepperoni, thinly sliced bell peppers, red onions, and house-made spicy honey—an unforgettable combination! The outdoor wood-fired oven adds charm, and there’s clean, comfortable patio and indoor seating. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and parking is easy with plenty of street spaces. Highly recommend Tic Tac Toe Pizza for a must-try experience!

Most random not only restaurant but overall place I’ve been to. Tic tac toe should give you a hint or warning to what will unfold in your dining experience here. No waiters or chefs just an iPad and a crochet pizza dude. Once you order you have 5 different areas to sit. Each one with its own unique style. We chose the outside next to a backyard play area. It felt like the McDonald’s playhouse/ party area. Felt a bit awkward but it wasn’t bad. The Buddha statues and restroom paper napkins made me feel safe strangely enough . To say this place has everything is an understatement. Coffee, parfaits, Kool-Aid jammers? they got it. They even have piano music coming from who knows where. The pizza was solid tho.

We went here for a child's birthday party. They offered the most hazardous children's play area I've ever been to. There were two bouncy houses/obstacles, one of which had the frame that houses the fan pumping the air into the playhouse broken. A child could have easily had their fingers chopped off if they fell and had their fingers land into chamber. The fan was exposed and easily accessible by children. My husband had to move & cover it to a more secure location. Upon notifying staff, they appeared to have no idea of the broken fan chamber despite setting up the playground themselves. I did not see any of the staff deflate and remove the bouncy house or attempt to address the damaged fan when notified of the damage and potential danger. There is also a swing set that was not secured to the floor and simply placed on the fake grass. A 7 year old and 5 year old (the appropriate age group for the swing set) were using it and lifting the swing off the ground. It could have easily toppled had they swung more quickly or aggressively. The area was poorly maintained and dirty, I found a thumbtack on the floor. I can appreciate an eatery catering to children, as there are few places that do, but I would never take my child there again. The pizza that we ate was cheesy and decent. I saw employees periodically come to pick up the empty pizza pans and somewhat trying to clean during the event. This place can have potential if they...

OVERALL: I HIGHLY recommend this pizza x10. When I took a bite of my first slice, I said “Oh my gosh” three times as I kept chewing. The flavor is undeniable fresh. It seriously transported me back to memories of being in Italy eating at my favorite pizzeria in, centro di Firenze. And the staff is very friendly, and helpful.

FOOD: I got the Spicy Sausage, with Pepperoni, onions, bell peppers, and spicy honey. The dough tasted fresh too. I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s prepared in house daily (I didn’t ask, but will when I return). MAJOR kudos to the person who prepped my pizza as none of the toppings overwhelmed the other. It was a perfect balance of each topping making each bite, the perfect one – MAGNIFICO! Also, they use a wood-fire oven which helps with cooking the pizza with a crispy, but soft crust and I think this makes all the difference in terms of taste!

HOT TIP: Get the Spicy honey added to your pizza. Also, add basil on your pizza as it FRESH cut from a basil...
